Mancini - undercover agent in the Yaya Cakeoure situation

For all those german readers out there.

To summarize, Inter are prepared to pay 73 mil euros for Yaya Toure, plus offering him a huge salary, almost 54 mil in 4 years.

If this comes true, Mancini should be called Sir Bobby from now on, around here.

I have Yaya down as a main reason for every success we've had in recent years but I'll join with the notion that his liability aspect is starting to overtake his benefit aspect so a good price received now would add nicely to the rebuilding fund. I won't mention where I think the rebuilding should start though as I don't want the haters chipping in to spoil the makings of a good thread on an interesting topic.
Yes Pete, I hope it's true and I hope it happens!
If we had De Gea and the rags had Hart, we'd be top with a 9 point lead and they'd be in 12th place - that's the difference between a 'good' keeper and a 'top class' keeper - 12 places - think about it.

If they offer us 73 million euros we better accept it sharpish and send the money straight to Juve for Pogba.

According to that Article, as far as I can tell, the 73 mil is for Yaya. That's what Inter would be willing to pay him over five years. The transfer fee, as far as I can see, isn't mentioned more than they would have to pay it on top of the salary costs. Perhaps I'm reading it wrong though. Zuri or TomS could perhaps be of better assistance.

I also don't think someone repeatedly tapping up one of our most important players qualifies someone for an accolade ;)

I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

I don't speak german that good, only the basic things, but from what i understood they want to pay him 210.000 per week, dunno if euros and pounds and almost 52 mil pounds plus bonus (?) to us, that will make the bid to be around 73 mil euros.

It's really weird, if you ask me, to pay that much for a 31 year old that had a shit season. Last year, maybe, but now, i would not pay mare than 20 mil for him. Not even on a long shot.

PS: other newspapers took this news in, but i saw only in one the bid that City will receive. The rest speaks about his salary.

Do you think inter know that we'd blow the dosg on pogba thereby strengthening inter and taking one of juves main weapons away?

Starting with a loan, where they have the option to send him back.

Yaya isn't worth very much in transfer fees & wasn't last season either. He is too old to go for big money as a centre mid.

He could become a Pirlo type player & lengthen his career, but the Yaya of old is dead.

A german website would use Euros, not GBP. Therefore, almost 55 million Euros on wages, leaving 18 million for transfer fee. That's £13m. In all honesty, I'd (begrudgingly) take that for him, as I believe that he'll be worth nothing in transfer money after next season, and won't bring £13m (plus wages saved) worth of benefit to the club.

I'd fucking bake him a cake at the send off. Big giant oafish lazy cunthole.

And yes I "appreciate" his contributions but he needed to fuck off last summer. That cake shite would have gotten him shipped out of a club that didn't let the players assrape the club for fun.

Cheers

Cocacolajojo is right. According to the source, Inter are prepared to offer €73m to Yaya over 5 years. No mention of a tangible transfer fee at all.

I may be way off the mark here but I believe FFP was a factor when it came to the Yaya situation last summer. We couldn't sell him as we didn't have the funds to go out and buy a top player to make up for the hole he would've left behind.

As to those saying Yaya's had a shit season, he hasn't reached the levels we know he's capable of but he did hit double figures last night for goals scored, not bad for any centre mid.

Inters "offer" to us will probably be about 50p, though given its an Italian club involved I may have gone a little high with 50p.

FFP had nothing to do with sending him out. We had a net spend cap so any funds we got we could have spent.

Can't imagine this team would have been lower than 4th playing Milner in midfield all season after telling Yaya and his agent to sit and stew or find a deal because when you fuck us publicly like he did, we fuck back harder.

That's my point. What we could receive for Yaya would be nowhere near what it would cost to replace him hence we weren't in a position to do that last summer even if we wanted to.

Well, genius...my point is that we hardly had to buy Pogba to do the crap we've accomplished this year.

Get it?
