MANCINI OUT if you please.
This is the most dreadful, boring football I've seen since Pearce.
In fact, given the money spent on what we all believe to be class players, it's worse.
Who's with me?
:(

Oh my. It's ok to want Mancini out because he doesn't play with four strikers every game, after all, we are only 6 points off the table leaders with one third of the season gone, but let's not consider that, eh? But to want him replaced with O'Neill...now that really makes me shudder.

15 goals in 13 games .......... 7 in 7 at home.

This time last year I was saying -ffs give the manager some time we are the masters of knee-jerk sackings then starting all over again - going backwards in the end
So this year I will say the same - but actually with more strength. The only reason I would consider replacing Mancini is if he has lost the dressing room - and I mean in general and not just one or two players with an axe to grind - so long as they will play for him he should stay - because I think it will work out.
Recent results for others, e.g. Chelsea yesterday, the scum several times etc show how competitive this league is - it is not just a media statement it is a fact - therefore we need to go out against all teams with due respect - there are no teams out there that we should have an expectation to simply blow away - same for Chelsea and other top teams.
History shows that you need a defensive unit that is rock solid - I think that we are close to that - although I recognise that both FBs need to bed in - NDJ is an absolute rock in MF and Tevez the same up front - so we just need to get Ballotelli to gel with Tevez, Silva (or Milner) to gel with NDJ alongside Ya Ya and Barry or one of either Ya Ya or Barry if you are introducing Johnson (or Milner)
Such a set up should offer the security of not leaking goals whilst able to then quickly transition into attack as a cohesive unit.
I cannot help but think that this will come in the near future - unless Mancini has lost most of those 11 players - and I do not think that he has
Another reason - and actually a good one - for no change is it will be just rewarding the media vultures - playing straight into thir rag biased hands!!

Worried that every time I watch City I'm likely to be bored to tears and squirming with embarrassment.
I remember a while back that you and I agreed that Mourinho wasn't the man for the City job because we should be capable of producing a team to play 'champagne football'. Presumably, you still think Mancini is the man to provide us with that - or is it that you just can't face the prospect of admitting you were wrong ?

And with 8 points from 18, 5 from the last 5 games, do you reckon our current form will keep us there long?

Everyones had shite form though Beef...otherwise we would be way off the pace wouldn't we...so surely if we recover some form we will still be up there?
I'd rather have a blip in form now than after Christmas truth be known
