9 straight wins

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Still don't think we're going to win it. Easier fixture run finishes and we lose Yaya to ACN, I sense a conspiracy.

And Clattenburg is part of the conspiracy. Does he think he can fool us by giving Dave a penalty. That's just so he can get the Chelsea City game and give them a last minute pen. Bastard. And those Leicester fans think there is a conspiracy against them! Pah. Retards.

On the BBC website it is mentioned in a report about the game. Filed in the 'Africa' news section !

I personally hate the media bias mate and believe it should be highlighted as much as possible (no shortage there).

I never would've guessed Beefy. You hide it well.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

david seaman was on talksport earlier. the master horse trainer quinn asked him why arsenal were so inconsistant, to which he replied they need to go on a good run like chelsea or the scum, city totally ignored by an ex city player ffs.

Perhaps the evidence of media bias and antipathy towards City, as well as everyone else's agenda against us, ought to be brought together in one permanent thread on this forum.

It would soon grow to alarmingly massive proportions, but with every instance of such disgusting bias recorded in one thread location, it could have several putatively beneficial effects :-

(i) Those innocent simpletons on this forum, who still believe that all this talk about an 'agenda' is just so much misplaced hot-air, would be both horrified and mortified to see the extent of the animosity generated against us by all and sundry.

(ii) Any 'journalists' (and I use the term in the loosest and vaguest sense) who log onto this forum to spy on City business, might just be sufficiently shamed to induce themselves to wake up and turn over a new leaf.

(iii) If any of the Club's Management Team were to view it, there might be increased incentive for them to ban such 'offenders' from the Stadium.

As long as the points keep coming in, I am happy.

The players themselves can't fail to see it. Perhaps it serves as extra motivation for them.

To be fair mate, we were one of two secondary stories on the main page, just below the main one - MotD mainly featuring the Rags, Chelsea and Arsenal. Obviously, after an edit, we're now behind the 'Giroud - Sorry' , 'Irvine Worried about Job' and a raft of others which include Chelsea at the top with 3 Rag stories (Wiggy, Wiggy & Ta Maria) before our excellent win, in tough conditions, without a striker.

No bias though, surely?

Wish I'd started a 'MotD' thread now but just not got the energy.

I don't mind it commercial channels Sky and all that shite, but when it is on the BBC, funded by the public, it is not really acceptable.

Who is the director general of the BBC these days? Is it still that plastic scouser?

to all the sad souls who believe this clap trap.... try and focus on something important like enjoying the wife's body and company, maybe thinking up some songs or jokes, caring for a disabled person, or enjoying a hobby. The rivers in manc need a helping hand to get cleaner, get your waders on and go plant some ranunculus but do yourselves a favour and give up this nonsense, its childish in the extreme.

It's not at all.

It is advertising.

It is the reason Nike pay us less than the rags 75 mil per year from Adidas. It is absolutely crucial to the development of our club & it's bent in favour of certain clubs & keeping their brand above ours.

Aaah, one of the 'innocent simpletons' emerges from the unfathomable depths of his nightmare-free slumbers.

In actuality, I do focus upon things that are important :- I do enjoy the company of the lady wife, I play keyboards and flute in a musical duo and I do write all our songs. Until my Mum died earlier this year, I did look after a disabled person and I do have numerous hobbies such as playing and studying chess, building models of World War II warships, reading about history, designing gardens and trying to learn a little of foreign languages.

I also have an abiding passion in my life which is City and so I refuse to do myself a favour "and give up all of this nonsense", because the "clap-trap" you refer to is a massive and unremitting campaign directed against the Club that I love, in a perverted attempt to de-stabilise it and I find it hurts more than I can imagine to have to suffer it.

If you believe that there is no agenda against City, you are totally unfeeling and you might actually be considered to have your own, inimitable agenda, be whatsoever it may be.

Outstanding reply, i also enjoy many aspects to life outside My beloved City, but there is most definitely an agenda not to highlight our success, it also upsets me as it did on the teatime news bulletin on BBC
The love in regarding Chelsea is quite sickening, they are the best team at the moment because the table doesn't lie, but the crap spouted about their superior squad blah blah blah is absolute bollocks. If we can continue at or near this level in the league for the next 10 games we will be out of sight.. definitely!

Even if people can't imagine a collective and deliberate orchestrated 'agenda' they surely have to accept the possibility of a large number of individuals with their own subconscious agenda (whether it's flawed thinking that American owners are fine for the game but Middle Eastern owners are bad, or whether it's inertia to change - the whole 'Sky Four' mentality, or even just down to earth old fashioned tribalism since football journalists are very likely to be football fans themselves and some are not able to hide it as well as others).

There is a danger in writing this. Personally i don't care about the media .I see what i see and decide..

For me it is not about City.

It is the bias FOR Scouse 2 , Rags, Arske and Chavs that is worrying. Burnley, whu, av, everton , qpr and so on are being ignored .Not just City.

An even hand to all teams is all i ask.

Btw, i think most City fans would prefer this.
