Gibbs will have it overturned and it will be retrospectively awarded to Oxade-Chamberlain.

Ox-Chamb will get the 1 game ban. Sadly they have a game Tues so he will be free to play against us. What a pity.

I'm almost certain it was a radio message from the fourth official - it looked like the ref didn't see it.

I think Oxy told him it was me !

If the ref didn't see it, admissions are useless to him, all he can use is the word of his fellow officials.

Gibbs will have it rescinded and Oxlade-Chamberlain will avoid any further punishment. Arsenal to field a full strength side against their next three opponents.

Oh look, that includes us.

Mariner is so shite almost like Arsenal.

Since the shot wasn't on target, how was it denying a goal scoring opportunity? Shouldn't it be a yellow?

It wasn't for goal scoring opportunity but for a deliberate handball ...

No it's not. It's usually a yellow if the player isn't in front of goal.

And if the ball was going out anyways, why should arse have a player sent off? Oxly way very stupid but the punishment was extremely disproportionate and killed the game

If the Commission’s decision is that the claim is successful, the standard
punishment set out in this Memorandum is transferred from the record of
the Player reported by the Referee to the appropriate identified offender,
who will serve the standard punishment transferred by the Regulatory
Commission.

That's true, we need Arse to find some backbone.

It was not a even close to being on target, should have been a yellow and a penalty, no?

The ref awarded it - they can only appeal mistaken identity.

But couldn't they appeal any suspension?

Except it is, goalkeepers get sent off for handling outside their area. Saw a player in Serie A a few years ago lose it and catch the ball at the half way line, got sent off.
