Seemed to me the Sancho played the ball off the referee in the build up as well. Play should have been brought back there

Correct. If that is not classed as getting an advantage then I don’t know what does. Control the ball with your hand to gain control and the pass it to a player that scores.
That’s what the likes of the Rags and Tranny brings, the sponsors who pay the money have a say.
