If the lightning hits the ground within 8 miles of the ground then you have to suspend for half an hour .

Rinse and repeat and if it reaches 3 suspensions
Then game abandoned .

That’s what the Spanish commentator just said .

America is snowflake central .

You ever been there 64? Totally different weather patterns to UK. Storms are epic when they arrive, but are usually short-lived. And a great watch!

I remember Ashton going into meltdown mode when we had snow outside the ground and it was called off .

Epic that thread was .

I get that there may be a bit of lightning but this is H&S gone wrong.

Most of UK lightning is "blanket" lightning that does NOT strike the ground.

US is mainly forked lightning and has a much greater chance of hitting the ground.

Me and a mate were at EPCOT centre in Florida and the heavens opened full storm, being brits we were going to trundle back to the hire car and got stopped by the feds from going. Anyway 10 minutes of standing under cover and an almighty bolt of lighting hit said car park.

30 mins later we were driving off and the ground was all but dry again, needless to say if we saw the weather turning, we went inside until it had blown through.

Nah, I get it, mate. Been there a few times and it’s.very different. Remember a time when I was walking to the shop in very humid weather, then all of a sudden it was a downpour. Mind, still carried on, without a care ;-)

Alvarez has more tools in his armoury than Haaland IMO .
Links up really well in tight spaces .

Loved how they said it was a game of 2 European Titans at the start.
