Agreed. Cannot understand how we have not yet solved the left back issue. Gomez not the answer and I'd rather we brought a youngster through

Kerkez from Bournemouth would be good. Reminds me of a young Gareth Bale.

Gomez has shown nothing in the slightest, who ever thinks we will regret selling him should probably be sacked. Has had way more chances than his ability has shown.
derby day the scores were level,

Absolutely loved Ed since day one. But if he chooses to go there at this stage in his career I’ll lose all respect for him.

Some suggestions that any ins will be dependent on outs. If Bernie and KdB stay not sure we’ll bring in a big value recruit in midfield.nMight look to give Lewis and Bobb more time. Nunes might be given another chance. If Ederson goes a new goalie will obviously come in. You’d think a new RB would also be needed unless Lewis is going to get more games there. Didn’t last season. Alvarez apparently staying so a new striker unlikely. Pep likes small squads so we shouldn’t expect too much from the window. Of course if Bernie or KdB leave it’s a different story.

Not a welcome sight of Rodri. Spain downplaying it. Can we go through another season relying on Kovacic as back up?

It’s up to Rodri to grow a pair and say he’s not fit and can’t play, if that’s the case. It’s not on Spain or anyone else. It’s the player.

Getting sick of hearing how “exhausted” Rodri is. FFS he plays football, he’s not going down the mines. Works 2 hours a day and then once on a weekend.

If he’s tired then don’t go away with your country.

THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

As we saw against Chelsea in the semi final and Notts Forest in the League fatigue affects performance. God knows how we won either of those matches. There’s also the question of injuries and suspensions.

Kova is a nice fella, hope he stays, but we can't win the UCL again with him. So not upgrading this summer would be mental.

Guimaraes would be perfect for us. I know he’s expensive but he’s proved himself in the Premiership.

He's won it more than anyone else in our team.

Kovacic was a good buy. He’s had a decent first season. Sill imo he’s more of a squad thickener than a first team choice in a big match.

I’m not convinced Gundogan wanted to stay but If the hierarchy didn’t bust a gut to keep him as they did for Walker I’m speechless.

On par with saying Mendy has won stuff. Factually correct, but doesn’t paint the whole picture does it?

The 4 CL’s he’s “won” he didn’t start any of the finals and only came on in two of them.

Mendy was washed up by his mid 20s. Kova has played for top clubs throughout his career. To be a squad player isn't bad for us and RM.
I think the only game here looked out of sorts was Arsenal away, He played well at The Bernabau and was one of the few not to have a total stinker at Wembley. Let's not forget there were loads slagging Gundo off after his 1st year

Exactly

Scott Carson has won 2. Doesn’t make him first choice

I suppose Phil Foden is a better comparison than Scott Carson as it's substitutes who've come on and contributed
