That would get my vote. That would mean two keepers incoming though. I'd take Trafford back before the barcodes get him as a no.2

Not sure Trafford would come back to sit on the bench though? What about this blonde kid that we got from MK Dons?

Was thinking the same re Trafford. Don't know much about the Nordic(?) Kid who we signed a while ago not heard much since. Is he EDS keeper will have to take a look later

spike brits?

That’s him. He was out training with the players before the Brighton game. Just checked - he’s 17 so still way off playing for us.

I think he's been on the bench at some point. I remember thinking who the hell is that! (Spike Brits)

So we are going to trigger gündos contract for another year and can't nail a contract with tin tin

Likelihood is, Kev will have the opportunity to bag 500k a week somewhere in the middle east, while he doesn't warrant that based on his injury record in recent years. If he's set his expectations and the club have agreed to not make an offer, I think that's a pretty grown up outcome all round and shows that we're not operating on sentiment........

But is sentiment driving the Gundo renewal? - his performances certainly don't warrant the renewal. Hard to say whether the mess we have in midfield is because of him, or whether he's underperforming because of the general shitshow around him - I guess the club have decided its the latter.

Perhaps also the loss of KDB and Walker in the same season it's seen that they need some continuity in that leadership group?

No!
When Gundo played a certain amount of games his current contract 'triggered' a one year extension.

Kev’s had one good game in 3 months and we should be offering him a new contract  It’s Pep’s decision - back the manager.

Spot on.
I love Kev and his performance against Palace was excellent, but that hasn't been the case for the last 6 months.
Also last week people were slating Pep for playing him against Utd.

He’s been awful for months. And we had that period at the start of the season where he was injured and Pep openly said that no one at the club knows what the injury is - that and not retiring from international football would have been what drove Pep’s decision

I've also been saying playing one game a week isn't where we want to be.
We need players who can play Saturday/Tuesday or Sunday/Wednesday (please don't say Thursday/Sunday!!!).

Kevin certainly needs to move on, Gundo should go too. The rebuild is debated to death and players who have no future need to just move along. That is not being disrespectful, most of these have been super players for us. But when times up, it is up.
And for Gundo, KDB, Stones, Walker it is most definitely time up, Jack, Ake and Akanji we should keep. Were not going to move on 7 or 8 it would be too much upheaval.

I only saw his interview after Saturdays game this morning. He referred to having a hernia at the start of the season. I wish him the best he’s been amazing.

Mad that Pep and his medical staff don’t know what a hernia is…..

I stand to be corrected but as I understood it, it was 10% on his buy out clause at 40 million which dropped to 30million when they get relegated

So £23M then.

Decent return for someone who is never going to be good enough for us

Let’s wait and see, Notts. We all said the same thing about Palmer - he’s now worth about £80m

Delap could do well at a decent club. Agree, I don’t think he’s good enough for us - once we’re back to where we should be.

I think his level is about lower halfway in the PL
A West Ham in a good year, an Everton. He’d do well at a Brighter or the rags

Nowhere near what we need

Rags it might be. Lower table club

If Ancelotti gets the tin tack I can see Alonso and Wirtz going to Real Madrid.

Van Dick has signed an extension at dippers.
2 more years of never being dribbled past except for all the times he's dribbled past

Another quite summer of transfers for them again then, with him and Salah reportedly being on a fair whack!
