When he was doing the walk around today, he did make a point of being well ahead of the rest of the team, applauding all the way. If he's said that, seems that our new players, maybe plus Robinho, are getting the priority spots.

Very sad news if true, he's become a real fans favourite.

I hope he stays. I like the lad.
And if he goes, he must Not go to a good Prem team. Blackpool, Cardiff, abroad I wouldn't mind. But especially top half of Prem is a defo No.

But if he goes, with the new rules I do get it that some players must leave.

The truth is that he cannot play every game, and with the limited squad numbers this causes a problem. We are aiming for the stars and it is possible (and probable) that Mancini would rather have players that he knows can last the distance. We have a fair few players for that position and although I'd rather see him stay on, it's probably the right decision unfortunately.

Imo he's exactly what we do need. Our squad won't be limited, It'll be Huge & many players will lay less games than they're hoping. Bellamy is one player who will keep trying, even if he's left out of games. Others may throw in the towel if they think they're not playing enough (you only have to look at Ireland's effort v Scholes in the Derby) but Bellamy won't he'll still be that same player, busting a gut to win the game. There are at least 10 players out of the 25 I'd release before him.

Agreed mate, but I can see why this would happen. Johnson, Silva and possibly Robinho, Balotelli and Milner can all play in that position, even Shaun could do a job, so how many do you keep?

Imo you keep all of them bar Robinho & get rid of RSC, Ned, Zabba, Bridge or Vieira if neccessary. Imagine the reaction if Bellamy goes, Robinho stays & Robinho plays like last season? Sometimes you have to think of the goodwill of the supporters & Mancini would lose a lot of it if that happened. The crowd buzz off Bellamy. That's important. I recon Mancini will want to keep him anyway.

I will be truly gutted if he goes..as will 95% of city fans

why would anyone want our second best player last year to leave?!

It just doesn't make sense other than the fact that Bellers might rub them up the wrong way

I agree Ted. Also the 25 man squad thing is only for the premiership.

To win the europa cup, F.A. cup and Carling cup we will have to play maybe more than thirty more matches. Bellers will be more than useful in those.

Hughes + Fulham = Bellers saving face with the supporters? 2+2=174,212?

We'll see.

Been lurking for the few months I've been a club football fan now, and this is my first post.

It'll be sad if Bellamy goes. He is one of the players that drew me into being a City fan. He busts his a** for the team, his fellow players, and the fans. And he genuinely seems like he loves the club.

Big mistake to let someone like him go imho.
