We are aiming for the stars and it is possible (and probable) that Mancini would rather have players that he knows can last the distance. We have a fair few players for that position and although I'd rather see him stay on, it's probably the right decision unfortunately.

Imo he's exactly what we do need. Our squad won't be limited, It'll be Huge & many players will lay less games than they're hoping. Bellamy is one player who will keep trying, even if he's left out of games. Others may throw in the towel if they think they're not playing enough (you only have to look at Ireland's effort v Scholes in the Derby) but Bellamy won't he'll still be that same player, busting a gut to win the game. There are at least 10 players out of the 25 I'd release before him.

Agreed mate, but I can see why this would happen. Johnson, Silva and possibly Robinho, Balotelli and Milner can all play in that position, even Shaun could do a job, so how many do you keep?
