Danilo and Cancelo both good players. Danilo did a good job for us. Cancelo has started to. Mendy looked great when he first came until the injury and has started to look good again since the restart. I don't think anyone questioned the Stones deal at the time.
Not a manager ever that's got it right every time. We all knew about Walker but how good have Laporte and Ederson been.

Lost 9 games IS a fact. Shipped loads of goals ISN'T. We shipped 2 more than Liverpool, imagine if the Laporte /VVD injury would have been the other way round.

Compared to last year we shipped in 12 more goals and lost 5 more games...so the defense has gotten worse, even though we have thrown hundreds of millions at it.

Its no good imagining anything - the facts are our defense has been dire, especially for a team who wants to be the CL champions and no one should argue the fact we need it sorted once and for all with all the duds like Mendy and Stones being shipped out.

When someone defends PeP for our defensive line ups and shit signings , this will be challenged...and I have given you some facts , admittedly ,leaking shed loads of goals is not a fact but rather an exaggeration by me but the signing of shit defensive players is indeed a fact....and an expensive 100 million plus fact.

You need to get off your sensitive step Hazy and challenge the challenger with counter opinions that contain facts and not the blue tinted spec responses that contain a '' Pep is the greatest we have ever seen '' point in it as that will not win you the debate.

PeP has chopped and changed the defense all season long and this has been detrimental to getting any kind of defensive consistency and its cost us - Mendy leaving it to Gundo (I think it was him ) in midfield cost us , to name but one incident of many....you will never get that kind of situation when you have a settled back 4..or settled back 3 (even taking injuries into account)

I did not dismiss the impact of Laporte's injuries - I said PeP has been pretty abysmal in the defensive signings department and also I have added he has been pretty abysmal in the constant chopping and changing of the back 3 or 4 all season - he actually holds that record of most chopping and changing.

I find little to counter argue those points.
