Literally what is the point at all

Presumably home grown
Yeah, 'cos of UEFA squad rules, decent-ish English keepers in the twilight of their career have basically got a guaranteed income for an extra 2-3 years as third-choice keepers for clubs in European competition. I'm guessing a few would jump at the chance to be with us, simply due to the coaching facilities if they're thinking of heading down that route after retiring.

Read he had 20 clean sheets in 61 games for us. I must have missed those 20 games.
As in he avoided shitting the bed 20 times out of 61?

But anyone seen Steffen at all?
I think Fortuna relegated with him in goal, right?

Playing in goal for us is not really the busiest of jobs to be honest, especially against lower league cup teams

Only played 1/2 the season and missed all of 2020 (or most of it) with a knee injury. The fact that Dusseldorf get relegated with him in goal (for 17 matches) is virtually no reflection of his quality at all.

I secretly counted that he was planning to join
Celtic FC. In my opinion, this would be a good direction for him, especially since he has already acclimated to Great Britain. Betis may also be interesting for him, but there is no need to count on a return to form from FC Barcelona or Real Sociedad.
