I see we’re now apparently locked into another centre back battle and don’t seem to be focussed on alternatives - seems to happen every summer - also, we’re not moving on deadwood in the squad - I am not saying all this is peps fault However the lack of clarity from him about his contract is a frustration

Do you actually think that is Koulibaly is #1 choice we're not also simultaneously negotiating for our #2 choice in case Koulibaly falls through? There's no timeline for deals to be finished except for the transfer deadline in October (I think that's when it is).

Saul, you know that in the Premier League, you can fall away very quickly. Unlike the Bayern 1st League. Where Dortmund gain a quick start and Bayern meet them beat them season over!
