How do you know we dont have a list of CBs we're considering? If the club has a #1 choice why should they not do whatever they deem necessary and acceptable get him? These are negotiations; most of them, especially for really good players, take awhile. Because Napoli didn't accept our first, low offer for Napoli we shouldve moved on? Do you actually think that is Koulibaly is #1 choice we're not also simultaneously negotiating for our #2 choice in case Koulibaly falls through? There's no timeline for deals to be finished except for the transfer deadline in October (I think that's when it is).

Why do you think you deserve clarity on Pep's contract situation? Where did this entitlement come from? Do you have your boss for updates on his/her job security? Its none of your business or my business or any fan's business. The only people who should be concerned with Pep's contract situation are Pep's team, the City hierarchy, and the players. He's our manager until he's not. Why do you need to know? Hus contract status isnt going to affect your life in any meaningful way.

Saul, you know that in the Premier League, you can fall away very quickly. Unlike the Bayern 1st League. Where Dortmund gain a quick start and Bayern meet them beat them season over! The recruiting I think works best when the manager is set. It is also for me crucial the signings address our issues not Peps last stab at CL. If we are pandering and it is an if, who is to know the next manager is already armed with the excuse, not who I would have signed. For the first time it feels we are rattled by say the Scousers. Our squad is so unbalanced it will take more than 1 window IMO. Koolio will be added to a group of defenders The kid wants out Stones, Otter are bit part, we still need another 1 plus 2 midfielders as Ferna is in his last season, this window is huge, Sergio starting to show the wear and tear. The Lyon defeat cemented it for me, we are not good enough, and that is with Pep fully on it, just say we are 9 points of the Vermin, the contract will become the topic. Unlike Germany we are not reeling them in like they do in the 1 team League!

I think some of us deserve clarity on our managers situation because we spent thousands and thousands following the club we love for years and years. Whether it’s Pep or Brian Horton - the fans deserve to know what’s happening. Pep is no bigger than the club, and the fans are the club.

Only some of us!?! The blessed Khaldoon didn't do his normal eulogy about Pep I notice but they did include Sheikh Mansour giving him a hug - maybe just goodbye - think chubby chops is ready to take over fresh from his cryogenic coma.

The latest pearl of wisdom from Stan - wife beater/dogger - Collywbble is KDB would be better furthering his career at dipperville, because City are a club with “B” expectations whereas the dippers are solid “A”
Hmm, seems to have escaped our car window wanker that City have dominated the domestic football scene for the best part of a decade.
Ahh well, back to the dogging sites, nice looking hybrid number in Melwood

I remember a utd fan telling me when all this started to watch out for the glory hunters jumping onboard. I said nah. I went to chelsea the folliwing season and saw dozens of Chinese and Russian tourists sat in the away end pissed me off no end as a few of the boys couldn't get tiickes. Unfortunately, thats the way it is money and corporate talks.

Yeah I knew it would happen, but it comes with the territory of being a “big” club. My only issue is that these glory hunters shouldn’t tell “proper” City fans what they can and cannot do.

I’ve given up trying to debate the Asian and African “fans” on Instagram trying to tell me who is classed as a City legend.

It means we are getting someone there. I hope the fuck is Alaba and not Chillwell.

PS: Read that Umtiti will be available.

Doubt it would be Chillwell, they got stupid money for slab-head and seem to be expecting the same for Chillwell we should be setting our sights higher than him. Good(ish) PL left back but nothing more. I rate Tierney above him from what we saw at Celtic.

Since Terry Phelan left.

Haven't seen us linked to any left back this summer. Don't know where the Mendy rumours are coming from, there's nothing in the press.

Looks like we're going with Mendy again, with Ake and Cancelo as cover.
