Catching flu is , in theory , worse as you do show symptoms and your basically bed ridden.

The fuckign irony.

It’s bound to happen when footballers are travelling and holidaying like there’s no pandemic going on.

Glad they are asymptomatic.

Rotten luck for them. In isolation for a few weeks and cant train with the squad, so out for the Wolves game. Suppose its reasonable to assume we will see Ake's debut at Wolves.
Possibly Torres as well.

If they don’t want to catch or spread it yep that’s pretty much what people need to do.

It wouldn’t take a genius to work out that restricting movement is one of the key factors in containing the spread.

Maybe you should nimble over to the Covid thread - among the conspiracy theories, from both sides of the argument, there lies enough information to obliterate your train of thought.

Just a quick note.
There is no pandemic.
Any coronavirus around in April has now gone. They are now testing over a million people a day so surprise surprise traces of RNA coronaviruses are being found. (Covid or common cold or parainfluenza or whatever...)
Finding bits of viruses in people is not a disease.
The constant publication of these irrelevant numbers is nothing more than terror porn
Anyone who did get sick with it can be successfully treated with HCQ

Please stop listening to the propaganda and look at the numbers

The record number of tests processed in a single day in the UK stands at 208,835 on 27 August. Or 200,000,800,000,835,000 if you're Priti Patel.

After your predicted 500 thousand deaths in the UK , Id not comment on numbers if I were you.

I didn't, though, did I?

What I said was:

We'll see what the figures are by the end. Ultra-conservative estimates are putting a final death toll at around the half-million mark (and that's just direct deaths from the disease, not deaths resulting from an over-stretching of emergency services), with most 'realistic forecasts' seemingly falling in the single-digit millions.

Talking about deaths internationally.

And that if no measures were put in place, the 40,000-deaths-internationally barrier would be passed on 31 March (note: it happened on 31 March, with the figure being just below 43,000 at midnight GMT) and 920,000 by 1 May (which never happened, in part because measures were put in place).

That compares with you claiming that any estimates putting the death toll in the UK by the end of 2020 at above 28,000 were "pure speculation".

Actually , he seems the complete opposite of what you accuse him of.
It’s people in government who don’t know how to spell strategy is the reason why we can’t get back to matches .

You didn’t distance yourself away from the following comment though did you - “ultra conservative estimates are putting the figure at half a million “?

As for the figure of 28 thousand - the government have already admitted thousands of deaths were mistakenly put down as deaths by Covid - so maybe that figure isn’t far off the real figure .

No, I didn't. Because that was the ultra-conservative estimate for worldwide deaths, not UK deaths. Current worldwide deaths are nearing the 900,000 mark. Even if you think 1-in-3 of them aren't actually a result of COVID, and death figures are being inflated as a scare tactic, that still means we're already close to 100,000 above the ultra-conservative final figure.
