I think our squad is perfectly good enough to to win the CL and PL. Let’s not forget that we only conceded two more goals than Liverpool and scored 17 more than them last season, and yet their defence is hailed as being water tight and ours dreadful.....two goals mind you.
What cost us is mistakes, arrogance and lack of effort in certain games. Out two signings will certainly improve us and if we are on the ball we will beat anybody, so it’s down to the team spirit and Pep not over complicating things which will determine our season not our signings.
And in reality Liverpool are one major injury away from disaster.

Your last line mate describes what happened to us. KDB has predicted RandR will be needed for him and others. We are lost without him or Laporte, Edison is crucial. Laporte was a bigger miss for us even though KDB is the better player. We simply have more options for cover in midfield than in defence
