Unless we get some attacking intent, then expect this more and more often. Hate to say it about Delap, but I just see a carthorse.
City and sniffing knickers.
Come on Blues.

a good few years ago when everyone was creaming themselves over Guardiola coming to City, i pointed out that he only has one way of playing, which ususally wins admittedly - but can get a bit boring.
Pretty much whoever you have in defence will get caught out at some point with this style.
If we dont score 2 against packed defenses then we are always going to be vunerable, Guardiola's teams always are.

So genuine question, if after going 1 up against them today, we played a completely different tactic and let them have the ball and focus just on turning them and countering. Do you think we would have lost this game ?

Absolutely gutted, but in some ways not surprised, Mendy and Garcia should never play again, I knew when we were 1-0 up things were not right, might be something to do with watching football for 55 years, you know when you are not going to perform.
Brenda out thought pep, this defeat will have repercussions make no mistake there will be a media frenzy. I can’t think of another team that would have lost so heavily against a bang average Leicester team, fucking disgusting that all I can say

Why fuck are we not picking up a justin? And spunking consistently on wank foreign defensive imports.

Another coming in for 50 mill plus otter in a league where mangala convinced us he was worth fighting for all summer. Depressing.

This reminds me of Pelligrini and his last season!getting battered by all and sundry, another problem could be teams thinking if Leicester can do it at the Etihad so can we this defeat is an unmitigated disaster

know Rodri will get heavily criticised again for good reason, and some not.

He started last season really well and we've seen some real quality, but he's going to have to improve and whilst I do believe he can there are some questions on whether his type of style is going to work as the 6 for the style of football we want to play.

Micah's criticisms post-match today are valid, but also a bit harsh in that Rodri is excellent at keeping possession + finding teammates in tight spaces, as well as one on one defending to win the ball. His technical ability and vision within 10 yards is exceptional.

However, when it comes to creating chances from build up from the back he isn't showing to be one to utilise long range passing/vision, nor will he run with the ball to create space, then pass and shift into defending mode like Dinho.

Rodri is a big lad compared to Dinho, so his agility is automatically lower, even if he's quick with the ball at his feet and smart with decisions, he won't really run too much with the ball and then pass. I don't recall seeing a lot of long balls across the pitch either, but perhaps I'm not recalling things accurately.

Again, I like him and he's not to blame entirely, but with the deficiencies we've had for more than a few seasons at left back was masked by Dinho's box-to-box style play along with attacking ability being a smaller no. 6 and there've been shades of this when Gundo's been at the no. 6.

Is Rodri perhaps too big, and therefore too slow in some areas to ever be what is needed if we don't make massive changes somewhere? Dias will help, I hope, but crazy me says sell the Zinch now and sign this dude Telles which will also ruin United's plans.

Garcia and Mendy fucking shite, Garcia is slow as shite, Mendy just clueless in everything he does, toothless upfront without Sergio, we need to get a proven striker in regardless of cost
