From what i am hearing he would struggle to catch Rodri.

I still have vivid memories of Mangala.

I think some of our fans are hoping for too much from this Guy.

Our problem right now is our system.

I see this poor fucker being thrust straight in to the back 4,with Gudogan and Rodri sitting just in front..

Our system is the same, the quality of player is way below the standard required plus stubborn bollocks fails to adjust as Rodgers did in front of our eyes just yesterday. Pep and co are in danger of being booted out if we re run as a normal club the warning signs have been about for over a year. Managers like Garcia and Rodgers see us coming a mile away, I said it weeks ago Leeds will rip us apart if we play the same again. We have no legs Dias is no the answer to a MF that is chasing shadows when we turn over the ball, Rodri and Ferna cannot run sad fact when playing premier league football. Love Ferna but he is a shut up shop player now. The fact Rodri is so slow Ferna is in the team as a minder. He could be a great coach for MCFC watching him now is like Zabba the legs are done.

We really are at a different level if we start slagging a player we know almost none about.

Just fucking wait a bit, we really have bigger problems than Ruben at the moment.

Zabba Vinny Bobby Moore RIP Plus Roberto Carlos, would get ripped a new 1 when you allow the opposition MF to get his head up and clip a ball into a space or Channel which we do week in week out. Vardy running through Barnes sitting out wide in the area vacated by Walker . No pressure on the ball we see what happens 1 pass we're fucked. The writing was on the wall 3 times before the 1st Pen. Pep still sits back like a child sort it you idiot drag Garcia off and put on Laporte FFS. Signs of Manuel's last season already.

Agree with all that.

I am concerned about his lack of speed.

If he is as good as some are saying, maybe he makes up for it with his footballing brain.

trying to be positive.

It doesn't matter one iota if our players are fast or slow. if Mendy and Walker are stupid enough to allow themselves to get conned by fake attackers .

It wont matter how fast the central defenders or midfielders are .

It’s the opposite Z when it settled down they found time to hit Barnes and Vardy. Defenders under Pep at City are forever caught high up the pitch mate. You do that v Vardy or Lyon, you concede 8 goals. Wolves should have had 5. We cannot press like Barca did with Xavi & Iniesta. Barca had better players than anyone. Pep l think like Maureen is looking tired.

Settled down or not Mendy running behind and "apparently" tripping the player up . Which he didn't do - was stupid. These cheats are looking for it . Just like Vardy will always throw himself to the floor at the first chance. Almost as good as Mane at it . mind you a useless ref like Oliver. Should warn players to keep those cheats at arms length.

I agree somewhat with this, as our RB and LB really exposed our central defenders.
Even if we played some incredible football, our defense was a nightmare from day one under Pep, but things like that are somewhat normal with his system.
You can't be tight on the back and be also lethal

But going back to this fella Ruben and about that analysis posted earlier: a leader of men and a player who doesn't look for friends on the pitch is someone I really want to have on our squad.

Bloody hell lads, lots of negativity and he hasn’t even kicked a ball for us!

It’s understandable I suppose given our track record with defensive signings. Let’s hope the law of averages works in our favour this time

Chorizo! You won’t find that kind of talk in the Working Men’s clubs of Manchester.

Yes lets just see what he brings to the party, before we show him the door.

Same for Torres.

This is the issue, if we’re going to break our transfer record surely we should know of the player! Personally I’ve never heard of him.

He's a top stopper and a shouter and the established Portugal CB. He's young, quick, big, tough, two footed, doesn't get crocked, great in the air and an excellent passer of the ball. He knows Eddy, Bernie and Cancelo too. I like him, he'll do well for us
