Delap to prove his worth - about fuckign time we had a forward come from the youth team.

There's a question for you Hazy , seeing as your an old cunt (Older than me anyway ) , when was the last time we had a consistent scoring forward from our youth ranks?

Paul Moulden was a goal scorer. David White, seems nuts we have wasted so long of the window when Khaldoon, advises us every window we have the targets identified yet we ponce about mate. Gonna be interesting mate.

Dan Sturbridge and Chef Evans?

Joke aside, I think there is something wrong with either the training regime or the alimentation our players have.
Guardiola had the same problems in Spain and Germany.

Bradley Wright-Phillips has done well in America haha

Cant remember if I I actually asked this in another thread but it's been years. We used to have shit ones we would get excited about.

I don’t understand the Sterling bashing on here, his goal scoring record in the last two seasons has been very impressive, he does miss lots of chances, so does every striker in the world but he isn’t a No. 9.
Yes he goes missing in some games, so does Serg, after an injury he usually takes 4-5 games to get back up to speed. I’m always happy when he’s in the line up, the stats back him up.

Totally agree and it's the last 3 seasons his record stands out but there's also Jesus bashing despite his stats, Mahrez bashing despite the fact he's been really impressive the last season and a half, Gundo bashing who played the 14 in a row that we won at the end of 18/19 season in the DM role, Torres bashing despite the fact he's been here 2 minutes.

Others never seem to get criticized, Bernardo was nowhere near the same level last season. Sane somehow seems to have turned into a superstar in loads of posters minds since he left when the reality was he wasn't getting in the team for a reason the last year and he looked shite when we first signed him.

He goes missing in big games when we need him to make the difference. With scouse in july/august or when the fuck it was is his first goal in 5 years vs scouse or rags. He did not score against the rags since he came here and took him 5 years to score one past scouse.

I've said it, he doesn't have the brain to be a world-class player, he doesn't have the mentality and mental strength to drag the team after him when we need him to step up. For me, he is pace merchant and the worst thing in the world is to have him in the driver seat if will have an all or nothing moment.

A good option to have, but that is about it.

Same applies to Jesus Gabriel - great squad players and great to have them as a supporting act - but never to rely on them As big game match winners ,for all the reasons you have given .

Any casualties from tonight's matches? I see Cancelo managed the full 90 minutes. At least Dias, Bernardo, Rodri and Ake just got 45 and Torres didn't feature at all.

He was supposed to have been recovered from his head injury earlier this week.

And straight in to a full 90 with Portugal. Like the posters have said above - makes no sense.

And what’s with our players getting head injuries? Headbutting walls?
