It is a disgrace ...allowing a 20 million pound a year manager carte blanch on when wants to leave....hes been here 4 and a bit years...not 20 fuckign years !!!
A disgrace that we haven't made his mind up for him.
Where's the loyalty for what he's given us btw?
back to back titles, when no one had done that in a decade. 100 points. Undefeated in League Cup and whatever FA cups he's won as well.
He's borderline revolutionary in terms of impact on English and global football that led to some of the most scintillating football ever witnessed.
Mancini gets massive love from our fans because he showed the love and played to the crowd (to save and cover his arse IMHO, which I found distasteful, self serving and splitting) not for what he really brought other than the 1st title and FA Cup. Worthy but Pep's been on another level and it took another genius and arguably one of the other best sides ever in Klopp/Liverpool to find a way to compete.
Pep doesn't do that so he gets slagged off and treated like a piece of rubbish.
Mancini caused several problems but I am certain some of the loudmouths calling for Pep's head LOVE Mancini like a God.
Was he here 20 years?
I will say the contract thing is tricky but I wrote this elsewhere I think he may be doing it because he's THAT much of a stand up person. Not the opposite.
He and Bielsa, his idol, are men of high honour. Pep doesn't want to stay if he thinks it will hurt the club or the players are tired of him.
Ideally a new contract would help and I can question it even if I can also get it. Tough situation all around but I think he is not 100% sure what is best just yet.
