Terrific first half - sterling playing some of the best football he’s ever played IMO .

What’s going on, Oliver didn’t give them a free kick for falling over? That’s one of Wilder’s tactics as he’s seen every other team get away with it this season.

Glass half full = good half Sterling brilliant, good goal by Kyle, defence dealing well with direct play.

Glass half empty = only one up after all those chances, not taking advantage on breaks when we have out numbered them, sloppy final ball,

Which is the correct evaluation?

Good first half. My
Main concern is we aren’t as much of a goal threat as we used to be and that keeps teams in it.
Tracking back is overrated.

Good first half. Though a long way to go.
Sterling excellent. Torres very good unlucky not to get a goal, or 2.

From bbc sport feed =

Joao Cancelo is the first Manchester City defender to create as many as five chances in the first half of a PL game since Aleksandar Kolarov vs Blackburn in February 2012.
