As my Midfield thread ........
Midfield is a clusterfuck too slow and not enough world class wow there . Defence is looking as good as it has been for a long long time thankfully. Upfront we need another marquee or even 2 strikers with Aguero coming to the end . Not easy to get one Marquee striker never mind 2 but we have the financial clout and niche so it should be priority.

Bernie has slipped so far is he done. 18 months of crap, yet goes under the radar. We need support for KDB not him supporting the strollers we have. Lack of a pass and goals from MF is a massive issue. Foden has to play he has goals in him.

Plays once every month and we all expect him to be class. Shame he’s not Spanish.

If there's one thing Bernardo is not, it's a stroller.

KDB is playing with mostly players nowhere near his normal level which along with Bernie is not great on current form, the strollers are Rodders and Gundo both no legs mate. Bernie looks like he is bit part unless he sorts himself out.

Berni is bizarrely being played out of position because our old cunt of a number 2 Lillo someone who no fucker has ever heard of insists on Rodri and Gundogan which fucks our midfield dynamics completely.

Either of them on their own seem OK, but together they're anonymous and useless

This is the problem. Together they are too slow and predictable, KDB has to run twice as far because of this instead of being free to do what he does best , it’s no wonder he looks burnt out every time he plays for city this season. Bernardo is shoved out wide when he gets minutes ??? We are lacking a world class midfield “passer” with legs and that cutting edge final ball / pass . Our current midfield has become predictable and easy to play against , Fernandinho could yet play a major role in midfield this season which would release Gundogan further forward where he is much more effective.Pep and the old cunt number 2 need to have a rethink ASAP .

We are a squad on the rise. Torres and Diaz are looking like great signings. Ake is a very good backup. Cancelo is starting to play really well. Steffen looks to be a much better backup than Bravo. Foden is inconsistent ocassionaly but still comes up with goals and assists. It's always going to be difficult to replace unique players like Kompany, Silva, Fernandinho, Aguero. But we have handled it in the past with the likes of Toure leaving, so it can be done again. Let's not forget that most of our players are in their mid 20s unlike the dippers whose best players are closer to 28/29.

I still think that we will win the league. ;)

A timely post.....

Dias scored two for Portugal tonight against Croatia including the 90th minute winner.... 2-3

Ferran Torres grabs himself a hattrick against Germany 6-0......

Things are looking bright

We ALL know this but baldie seems reluctant to change. Maybe it is down to Fern not being available but that's more me looking for excuses for him....
