He comes on as sub, last few minutes of the game goes on a run instead of keeping possession- gets tackled and put on his arse and instead of getting straight up and trying to win it back decides to stay on the ground for ages banging his arms up and down. Petulance at its absolute worst.

The Burnley one I remember us at 0-0 needing a win and Zinch, instead of picking out an easy pass to Sanè, tried a fancy pass and lost the ball. And rightly so Sanè let him know - Similar to how Kev was overhead on recording screaming at Foden the other week “you don’t listen Phil!”

Being frustrated because he’s lost the ball on your second example?

Time to stop banging the drum now. He’s gone. Let it go.

What petulance is that?

Sulking, throwing his arms in the air. Constantly having a go at his team mates, all the things we were discussing about him on here at the end of the 18/19 season.
The same things he was doing last night.

I don’t remember that. If you have specific instances though that may jog my memory?

Come off it Mase, you know exactly what Stupot's on about. I was Leroy's biggest fan when he was here, and I could see it.

Amazing what some will class as petulance for one player and completely ignore it for others though. Plenty of rag players in 90s were petulant. They won everything.

It was always Sane's biggest flaw. If you watch Sterling for example he will always make that run regardless of supply, Sane tended to start games making the right runs but if he didn't get the service he tended to stop making them.

Incredible player but it's the one part of his make up that can hold him back.

What is it with City players and Sky?

Tyler has to mention that Foden had problems and got sent home but fails to mention he gave the assist for the superb cross for Rice to score. Any mention of the crim from Mykonos?

He then scores and the first thing out of Smith’s mouth is to say how Foden missed easier chances before Tyler then regurgitates the same line as before, ‘But now back in the fold’.

This never happens to any other club player, only ours.

So fucking annoying, let’s see if he’s got anything to say about this one?

Only downside of these strange games is that Kev played both of the ‘so-called’ competitive games, meaning that, if he plays on Saturday, he will have played 3 games in 7 days, going into a very busy period.

I know they are professional athletes but the current schedule is not conducive with looking after players.

It’s up to Kev to speak to Belgium about it. He was moaning openly in an interview the other week that he was knackered. If he wants to become proper captain material he needs to step up.

Foden took both goals very nicely especially the second which was taken very early and was decisively arrowed into the bottom corner

Got a good eye for goal

He will be back on the bench soon enough.

If that clown puts him on the bench Saturday in favour of gundo I will personally slap his bald skull back to Barcelona.

He has no choice, even as a senior player. Like Southgate says, clubs have a joint responsibility but none of them want to give ground as they both have commercial values. Then, when the player gets injured they both point fingers.

This may go against the grain but I think Pep is playing the long game with Phil, really acknowledging his talents but wanting to protect him for a full career.

I’d like him to start every game but do understand why he doesn’t.

Ps. Clown? I’ve just realised I shouldn’t even Have respond to a comment like that.
