Has anybody got the ability to put a forecast of win/lose/ draw on the thread?

Nice one HD, good to see a thread on this important occasion starting early.

The problem with us losing against The Hobbit is that they have no intent whatsoever and hit us like a Sunderland team would. I’d normally have the same instinct as you, we will get picked off because it’s what happens when a lesser team comes to us in such an important game however, what I’ve seen lately from Pep, and the team, is a very different set-up to what we seen last season. Pep seems to have learnt from his recent woes and the team seems more focussed on the whole piece, not just the attacking intent ( a Mancini moment?).

Strangely, I’m not nervous about tomorrow and, even though a game can go against us under certain circumstances, I do think we are far the better team now.

Exactly so and I second your opener. Big trouble in the swamp when they lose tomorrow and Poggy can be relied on to make it worse.

Same for me. Not nervous despite VAR and soft penalties.
I think Pep had copped on. We look more solid this season at the expense of some attacking intent.
For me Pep is playing a long game and right now he is using the PL games to get everything in place for the CL knockout stages.
So with Pep's new pragmatic approach we have way to much for the Rags to handle (even with their car calls).
The Rags have talented players and lots of pace but their defense is dreadful and their manager is worse.

1 - 3 for us. Sterling to play a blinder.

We'll have an easy day at the swamp, depending on team selection, we'll score at least 3, they'll get a soft penalty at some stage. Confident about this one for a change. Come on City!

Exactly the same as last year when we played them, people saying worst rag team in a generation only for the worst rag team in a generation to beat us 3 times.

Baldie better pray we win or Ill be straight on the PeP thread....losing to that shit 4 times in a fuckign year will be a fuckign disgrace.

There again, losing to them 3 times didn't seem to bother Baldie that much as he was still living off his past successes but he will get a huge amount of shit if he loses against them again today.

Not confident at all. Horrible feeling the officiating will be diabolical and we wont finish our dinner.

On paper we are miles better than they are, but the game is gonna be played at their house with their rules.

Happily take a scruffy 1-0 any time but pre team announcements think we could well lose

That first derby he threw away in the league cup still gets to me- how he didnt seem arsed.

Hes the one who talks about history and 90s history - it's like he sees the scum as a team were expected to lose against which is crazy - someone needs to tell him a loss was never acceptable long before him and also that they are shite.

Baldie made history - we lost 3 times to them in one season .

My feeling is that we have been building for this game but there’s always that nagging feeling that certain decisions will go against us. Not sure where it comes from.

We just need to scored two because I don't think Eddie can save their penalty.
