Fight and passion cannot be taught IMO and thats the worry.

Defence aside, I only see torres and foden being here in a few years so what exactly are we building?

I'd rather blood kids in if we are accepting mediocre

There was enough out there to win that game.

Something else is wrong.

I think Pep is putting all his eggs in the CL basket this season.
The tactics at the moment is not to be gung ho, I think he is trying out a system where we don’t fuck up in defence at the QF stage. We have gone seven games and let one deflected goal in, that is pretty damn well impressive. Obviously he would have hoped for more goals, and I suspect some of the players are not happy with the approach, there was quite a bit of shoulder shrugging between our players tonight, I don’t think there’s universal acceptance in the dressing room. I personally think we will do very well in the CL this time round because of our new found solidity at the back, it’s absolutely vital and I see Diaz and Stones as the regulars and Laporte playing a bit part, he is fucking useless in big games. I think our current problems are a confidence issue because of the players adapting to the new approach, when they get it we will be incredibly difficult to beat, maybe (I hope I’m wrong) no trophies this year, but next season get your money on all four.

The squad not good enough, referees, VAR, media, pitch too wide, blah blah blah....fek me some fellas still sniffing glue. Give ya heads a wobble. The squad is more than good enough to beat this West Brom side nevermind spank them. Foden, Torres, Bernie should been the core of the first 11, plays them here and there sporadically, never had a consistent run to build momentum, plays them out of position then expects a miracle. I'd rather start playing them now regularly and start building for next season, write off this season, we're just going nowhere.

Makes me wince at the thought of how much he spent on Rodri, cancelo and Mendy

haven't seen the game as on afters but by all accounts, we were bad,
whereas all the 1 touch football gone, why oh why do we need to pass back and sidewards teams like to play us now because we are so slow and we don't get as many forward now. 1 way to get at teams is to pass a lot quicker and to run at them, but having 2 D/F on the team does not help, have 1 and another quick player on. to me have a back 4 and 5 in midfield [1 D/F] and then have serg or gab leading the line, but what do i know about football
