Out in the cold. Working his bollocks off to get back to match sharpness and eradicating fuck ups from his game and being ready to step during the festive period and beyond if required due to either injury or rotation

At the moment, behind Stones which is fair enough on current form . Think we blew a lot of smoke uo Laporte's arse whilst he was out last season. Looked tidy for us but caught out massively by pace in big chumps league games against spuds and Lyon. To be fair to Laporte, he did not have much help around him but you could point to him not marshalling rhe back line and contrast that to how vocsl Dias is?
Be surprised if we don't swap the CBs tomorrow though

for me he is not a leader. He has allowed John back in when he was not even in the race. Dias showing up Laporte for me.

I won't be getting carried away as he's been crap for pretty much his entire career.

But at the moment he is forming a good partnership with Dias and having a settled back 4 is key to a good defence. Pep needs to stop tinkering with the defence.

1 goal conceded in the last 8 games and it was a game stones wasn't playing in. The whole defence is playing well at the moment, probably with Walker being the pick of the bunch.

We do miss the laporte switch from left to right, no one else can ping the ball like he can in our defensive options.

Just need to fix things in the middle and at the other end!

I see lots writing off sergio, which is a bit mad. I am sure he still has plenty to offer, we just need him fit and on the pitch.
