Absolutely, how many times have we seen this at our club and other clubs where a player gits a great vein of form around contract renewal, only to nosedive once the ink is dry.

Not for the really great players it's not.
Lads like kompany, dave silva, fern, zabba etc. They gave it their all no matter what.
