Rags are wank .

Because it keeps the two clubs, with the largest global fan bases, aka subscribers aka $$$$$s, 4 points clear of everyone, 'fighting' it out manfully for the PL title.
Exciting stuff, so exciting I will pay to watch the drama unfold.

A problem in itself. Nobody within that sphere gives a fuck about Villa or us, we have or will get rid of the service knowing that they have contempt for our efforts. That just leaves the red hordes paying for the service, which leads to ...

Post COVID-19 will the PL survive? i.e. with empty stadiums (assuming the 'real' fans lose interest in a fake 'WWE' type product) and subscriptions from the global 'plastic' fans (think half and half scarves!

The original attraction of English football was the atmosphere, competitiveness, speed and number of clubs who could win trophies.
All of that is being taken away.

Dear, oh dear, How many times must we tolerate Taylor when playing Chavski ?? once again we put up with this jerk.

Yesterday's Rag refereeing was shambolic. Ole brought Matic on to hack away at Grealish and he did. Three nasty fouls , all of which were bookable but Oliver finally gave him a yellow when the points were pretty much signed and sealed up.

The penalty was absolutely disgraceful decision making and a clear dive by Pogba the bog, after he slapped the defender around the head. PL overlords are ruining the game with their corrupt decisions to get scouse and the rags back to the top of the pile.

I wonder what tricks await us on Wednesday against the rags ?

Oh, et Quelle Suprise ! Dean to ref on Wednesday after being VAR ref tomorrow.

I see this video I can't believe it was a penalty, I always support the fairest football, with fewer mistakes, but then I stop and see these types of moves.

If we have VAR to help, LET'S start using it CORRECTLY, these mistakes can define the future of clubs!

The league is a joke, very easy to lose interest in this shite.
How can anyone take this pantomime seriously as said above it's like American wrestling. Fucking acting, that's what it is.

Such a strong team to officiate our game tomorrow. Taylor on the pitch, Dean off it, what can we expect.

Interesting point is that they’ve tried to keep games fairly local for the referee’s to cut down on travelling during the pandemic, and rightly so. Taylor, for instance, has only gone further than Leicester once and that was our away game to West Ham in late October where the game ended 1-1. This was the game where Antonio produced a wonderful overhead kick after a cross from Soucek after handling the ball. VAR had a look and it was then that we found out that the rule had been changed a week before and it would be allowed. Didn’t Neville say something like ‘If that was last week, that’d have been disallowed’ while laughing his little rat face off?

Anyway, good to see that the PL/PGMOL have taken a different stance on certain ref’s now travelling to the capital, even though they have gone 2 tiers higher than where they were previously.

What I can't understand is the fans of the other teams. How can they stand this shit? The clubs I understand, we saw it with the terrible eight or how the fuck they called them, but how can other fans support this shit? Being robbed week in and week out?

It's beyond me.

It's beyond me.

They’re not being robbed, mate, they’re being given the results that they crave; that’s if you’re a Dipper or Rag, of course.

Other fans do see what’s going on but, like us when we weren’t really competing for the honours, they will only see it now and then when they play the favoured few so most of the time they’re not really arsed.

What is notable about the PL is that they actually receive more money from overseas viewers than they do locally. A couple of years ago it was something like 3.5 Bn locally and 5 Bn for the worldwide package. That’s now gone up again and I think it’s nearer to 10 Bn overall with a bigger percentage of income still coming from overseas.

What does that mean? Well, it means that those clubs with greater support want to see their clubs more and want to see them competing. We know, through varying polls, that United, Liverpool, and formerly Arsenal were the biggest pulls worldwide and the likes of City, Spurs and Chelsea are in the 2nd tier. All others are just there to make up the numbers and although they have strong fan bases locally, the worldwide base just see them as fodder for the top 6.

It also means that the PL have to balance the books in order to keep their members happy, especially the tier 1 & 2 clubs who are constantly investing for the product. The way to balance it is by somehow keeping the top teams competing and if they can’t, maybe give them a helping hand. And how can they do this? Well, start by setting up a separate officiating company that you basically own and is not accountable to the normal chains such as the FA. A closed shop that is so secretive that the head of worldwide officiating stated that it was basically not fit for purpose as an unbiased organisation. The same organisation that pays its members a gratuity on leaving/retirement for non-disclosure of any info.

Then, to finish, you just need the broadcaster who will not highlight any real issues within the game as it’s them who will lose out. The same broadcasters who pay the PL and have influence on how the game should be managed. The print media then follow suit as they are nothing without the game and need to keep their pages front and centre. Without the clicks, no funding.

In short, and it nauseates me to say this, the PL need certain teams challenging in order to keep the funding coming in. Scudamore basically told us this and we need to accept, for this to happen, that at certain times, certain teams may have to be artificially elevated to positions where the majority subscribers need them to be to keep tuning in.

It’s all about the money.

Just seen a video that shows clear contact, if that was one of ours I’d want a penalty. I get the frustration that those cunts are joint on points but this one was villas fault.

And so you should ;-)

Did you notice the limited angles shown for the penalty? It didn’t show Pogba’s hand in Luiz’ face pushing him back and never showed the ‘fall’ from either the front or rear, only showing a narrow angle which was inconclusive. Oh, and the ref had whistled before Pogba actually hit the ground. Combine that with Pogba telling Shaw he should’ve dived then there’s only one possible outcome.

CHEATING BASTARDS, ALL ROUND!

See Spurs have just gone one up with another dubious penalty, seems that any touch is now the way to go. I’ll now expect at least 2 a game for us.

Never a penalty in the memory of man. We, and most other PL teams by the way, never get those decisions. It seems to be the preserve of the rags. The sheer number of penalties they’ve been awarded over the last couple of season truly defies belief.

From what we are seeing then the referees now have to give others a penalty for the merest of contacts. I know we’ve been denied a few but there is no justification for not giving them for the same incident going forward.

Neville sets it up every time That won’t be overturned. Utterly ripping the piss out of the game. No real debate. Carragher and Neville are former players FFS of the team, if anyone doubts what lengths the two would go to give your head a proper wobble As for VAR it’s not fit for purpose when the coverage is provided by the cartel. Does anyone trust The Premier League. We are never in a million years are we getting the decisions these two get week in week out. We are being conditioned to the way it’s going to be if the scum and dippers can return the Cartel to the old days. Buy buy and buy again City or face it were fucked.
