Having said that I’ve just seen this which makes me question myself

Never a penalty in the memory of man. We, and most other PL teams by the way, never get those decisions. It seems to be the preserve of the rags. The sheer number of penalties they’ve been awarded over the last couple of season truly defies belief.

From what we are seeing then the referees now have to give others a penalty for the merest of contacts. I know we’ve been denied a few but there is no justification for not giving them for the same incident going forward.

Now now Beefy, you aren't suggesting what's good for the goose is good for the gander are you mate!! More chance of blow jobs being the cure for Covid19 than there being a level playing field

Just saying what I expect to see, a narrative, let’s say, all in order for me to have an almighty rant after tomorrow’s game. With the officiating/results seemingly going to the favoured clubs I expect Chelsea to get lots of calls tomorrow to give the PL a comfortable feeling about the top 4:

1. Dippers
2. Rags
3. Spurs
4. Anybody other than City.

Fuck me that goal Eze scored for Palace was absolute class. Goal of the season contender, likely winner.

Nope his name isn't Salah, mane or rashford.

So it doesn't count.

If VAR was hypothetically being used in evidence. A lawyer would rip it to bits
You blew your whistle you thought there was contact. The replay clearly shows no contact. Ref I asked for help from VAR.

Lawyer - OK They looked at it and. Ref, They agreed I was right to award a penalty.

Lawyer - Correct me here. We still do not have contact do we.

Ref errr but we gave a penalty and were satisfied. Garry Neville thinks it’s a penalty
as well.
Lawyer - Your honor This witness has seen no contact from every angle as has the court
Yet he is steadfast in his view despite the evidence we have proved it without any shadow off doubt he and VAR are
wrong. So what is it incompetence or blatant cheating.

Was there contact or not?
On MOTD (Wright) said there was?
And he said the reason Pogba fell was because the initial contact caused him to trip himself.

So the clip MOTD showed lookedd like there was initial contact.

Was there contact or was it just the angle used that made it look like contact was made?

Also, maybe it was just me but Ole looked embarrassed at his post match interview.

Did the BBC clip also show where pugba slapped him around the head , pushing him off at head height - which is very much a foul . Forcing the player to correct his movement ? Probably not eh ?

I said it in the past, piss aside, I really respect him for his reaction and point in the FFP scandal.
He and Lampard were the only ones that actually took our side.

They could have easily go with the flow and have a dig at us, but they refused. I will respect them for that.

Imagine Sterling having only two players to beat between his own half and the opposition penalty area.

I'd fancy his chances.

No slaps shown.
Could see Pogba's arm stretched back and him using it. But that just looked like a legit tussel between two players (if what proceeded it i.e. slapping, was not shown).

Sounds like the clip was doctored to support the script so.

Linear always struck me as a fair, decent, intelligent bloke who genuinely loves football. I suppose he has bills to pay, like most of us. However, it is still disappointing to see him (and the others), peddle BS ignoring the elephant in the room. Business is business I suppose.

We know we have the worlds best owners. I pray they react to the BS we face and go BIGGER. If not what’s the point of being the wealthiest club on the planet facing a cartel with a new plan to beat us.

The cartel have tried many different things to halt our progress- so far none have worked. Yes, we have been slowed down on occasion but have always bounced back stronger. VAR is just their latest weapon but we'll beat that too. BELIEVE blues!!

Looks like a strange line-up from Klopp tonight, have the Dippers still got the deal in place where Southampton still owe them for all the money they gave them?
