Haha, could you imagine the media fall-out from england skipper signing for City? Worth it for that alone. Horrible, snide bastard undoubted a goal scorer. More chance of getting Son and his legion of far east followers

I think that has some legs, to be honest.
I genuinely think Pep will take Kane rather than Halland.

I just hope we stay far away from Lautaro. He is not better than Gabby.

Rhetorical righr Hazy? Night and day. Don't know what Lukaku's problem is with the amount of teams he has been at but would take him tomorrow - or this afternoon

his attitude.
Watched earlier Inter with a small team. They won 6-2, but Lukaku moaned 90% of the game when a teammate didn't pass him the ball. I don't think he is a nice fella to have around, but a scoring machine, nevertheless.

He is actually one of the best strikers out there. Hardly anyone can stop or mark him.
Remember, people called Dzeko donkey also and look what he did here.

Lol, it seems you have no idea how Halaand is![]()
If you think his touch is good you will have a surprise.
You really need to read the whole phrases people write here, really. I've pointed out why Lukaku wouldn't be a good fit here, but his stats are fantastic and he is a striker that with the right assists can be even better. Call him Donkey, but he would easily score 30+ goals here with the services from KDB, Bernie, Foden, Gundo, etc.
Who did you expect to pass him the ball at the rags? Matic? Lingaard?

I agree PP. He knows where the goal is and with decent service would score lots here.
Is he pleasing to eye? No.
Is he better than Kun? No
Would he score more than Jesus? Arguably yes
Given his age and likely transfer fee, are there better, more value for money alternatives out there? Yes
He wouldn't be my first choice for sure, but equally, I wouldn't dismiss the notion out of hand. Goalscorers are the rarest breed of footballers and he is one of them
