Daftest thing of all we are a better more fluid team when we don’t play or use a striker .

It's amazing that you hate Sterling but would happily take a useless rag lump who can't dribble, pass, misses sitters all day and has nothing else to his game!

Give me gabby any day over this walking joke. FFS, he once injured himself dribbling over a ball!

I don't hate Sterling,
I think he is the most overrated player in the league. But I don't hate a City player. There is a difference. Is not that I want him to be shit on purpose, I am just not impressed with him being excellent with a mediocre team and on holiday when it really matters.
At the end of the day I will be the happiest fucker around if he scores when we actually need him to score.

And if your argument about Lukaku is a youtube video ffs.
If you read the whole thread, I explained why at the end of the day he will still be a no for me, even If I would take him, but he will bring problems.
He is a proven scoring machine. I like my strikers to score goals.

MANUEL Lacatelli is on the radar or was ,is it me or does he look like Mido ? Not 100% sure on lakaku but Harland would be a massive coup at his age if we could keep him.

Get on with it. Only a handful in the race for him and no reason why we shouldn't at least try.

Whats the issue with Haalands agent?
For me, it would be a shame if we went to rags or rents.

The lukaku story just has to be total nonsense. Probably just some sort of spin to let certain people know were looking at other options.

Look him up. A very difficult person to deal with. And that's putting it nicely.

Just imagine Pep seriously considering a player with a first touch like Lukaku's.

Whoever made up that story needs to think about the bullshit before going to print.

I wouldn’t rule out a move for Danny Ings as a cheap back up option.

I do feel sorry for Ings. You could see at the time that this was what the scousers were thinking when they bought him. Got injured snd then worked his way back to fitness and form at Southampton
Interesting to see if anyone does enquire iwould take him as a decent back-up

He has a choice to make. Be the top dog at Saints, play the vast majority of the time and have the glory of being their main man. Or go to a bigger club and be a bit part player who doesn’t get nearly as many minutes, but with the possibility of trophies and CL football. No right or wrong answer, just the individual’s viewpoint.

I'd take Lukaku if his wages weren't an issue, and at a cut-price fee. £25 million, and 80-100K per week. He's on around £115K per week at Inter from what I can see (topped up heavily - an additional 30%-ish - by bonuses), and they paid something like £75 million for him. That's too much for someone who I couldn't see being a regular starter in any set-up Pep would deploy.

Scouse should re-sign him , once Mane and Salad B.O to Spain. By that time Scouse2 should be safely off their perch.

And that'd still be too close...no way is he good enough for us. Get Kun fit and back on the pitch - and go all out for Haarland.

He's joint-20th all-time PL goalscorer, tied with Ian Wright (although admittedly only just above Emile Heskey and Dion Dublin), with all 113 goals coming in just 7 seasons. Also, he's never had an injury that's kept him out for over a month, so on that front I'd see him as low-risk.
