The Villa player deliberately played the ball so Rodri was played onside. NOT offside.

Agree. Would've been different if Rodri had sprinted back to get it, but he was just walking back, not trying to get involved until Mings had it under control.

Rodri wasn't offside. He came back onside before Mings brought the ball down. Mings lost the ball. This passive offside crap , perfectly good goal.

Me too, but at least our upcoming fixtures are none too challenging. It's the Dippers/Spuds/Arse trio from 7th Feb where we need to have all guns blazing I guess.

Surely he can’t be that bad with our current record. Oh, and he supplied the opener so, for me, he can stay for a little while yet.

Can I kindly refrain and just say ‘Get fucked’ ;-)

So, if you know the player is offside but decide to play the ball anyway, you are not offside if said player does ya.
