Not so long ago John Stones was written off by so many.
Just saying.
So let's keep the powder dry on this one for another little while, shall we.

I always had faith in Stones.

I love Sergio (Who doesn't ) but hes been a passenger all season and I think this could be his last season at City...its not so much his ability that's gone , its his injuries that seem to fuck him up season after season and steadily getting worse.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

People are rightly allowed to call out players not playing well ffs!

This is partly why people leave the site. You say what you see with your own eyes and a couple of snide posters will come back 2 years later “see I told you so!!”

Stones has been awful for two years. He’s been injured a lot, and when he’s not been injured he’s had stories in the media about him being a piss head or about him cheating on his bird.

He had a great moment against Liverpool a couple of seasons ago where he cleared a shot off the line - but that was caused by a miscommunication with the goalkeeper. Credit where it’s due, it went a long way to winning us the league.

Would Stones be the John Stones we’re seeing today if we hadn’t brought Dias in? Or Cancelo wasn’t playing well? Everything is clicking for the defence at the moment. It’s been collaborative. As long as he keeps his head down and cracks on I’m all for it.

Scraping bottom of barrel here, great striker, club legend, we might get the best out of him for rest of the season if he can regain his fitness, but really, we should be looking to replace him next season.

IF YOU ARE LUCKY IN YOUR ERA OF BEING BLUE YOU WILL SEE SUCESS IF NOT HEARTBREAK EITHER WAY YOU WILL BE BLUE. ITS JUST THE WAY IT IS!!!!

Not seen enough of the Lautaro kid to judge him but he would be behind Haaland who looks to be a beast. We need to be shopping at the top table here UNLESS there is a gem who is not on anyone's radar

Edin is looking for a move too.

Costa + Edin as a plan B - Yes no long term solution but both of them are a handful and would offer a completely different dynamic compared to what we have and actually create space for Kev/Raz/Bernard/Gundog/Mahrez to run into.

Alas not sure Pepperino shares my enthusiasm...

Delap, Nenchma, Netcham, Nedum or how is he called.

Perfect chance to give them a chance. I would take someone who is young and hungry, rather than a panic buy.

Delano and Nmecha are not ready, excellent to bring them in and give them experience but not players to turn to when all else is failing.

Ntcham moved on ages ago to Celtic too, not sure who you meant by Nedum?

I think it's time to break the bank and get Haaland in, the kid is no flash in the pan, he is doing it consistently at the top level and is showing great composure and akil at the same time. Time to make friends with his slug of an agent unfortunately.

Costa? Not in a million years. Don't like his attitude, he's not a City type.

Problem is his slug of an agent causes all sorts of problems behind the scenes and in the dressing room resulting in player power situations . City won’t deal with him and rightly so , now if Haaland was to change agents ......
Not really here

I was thinking at Nmecha, but couldn't get his name right

This situation doesn't rub me the right way, the devil on my left shoulder is telling me there is a problem between Pep and Kun. I hate to say that my fav striker has played his last game but its kinda feeling that way.
