Make that five!

Sadly they won’t be playing down the road from me!

Down the road from me (well, 12 miles) but in the current circumstances might as well be on the other side of the world. Was at the tie a couple of seasons ago and it was a tough game, with us being a bit fortunate to get through in the end. Swans now much improved compared to then so, unless their minds are focused entirely on promotion, we’ll need a strong performance to ensure we get through.

Where do you live belleebee ?
I’m a Swansea boy

Llanelli. Moved down 30 years ago from Greater Manchester. The Swans are my ‘second team’ nowadays and occasionally watch them at the Liberty (likewise at the Vetch before the move), though am a ST holder at City and this has restricted watching the Swans as often as I otherwise might. A mate works for the Swans so I was getting regular offers of hospitality seats and I always got tickets for games v City so I’d definitely have been at the upcoming tie if not for COVID. Obviously no conflicting loyalties for this one.

The swans are my favourite second team too. I get to the Etihad once or twice a season and I’ve been to the liberty to see MC a few times, I remember being the only city fan in the main stand when we lost 1-0 a few years back, Alone I leapt up when Micah scored what I thought was the equaliser, only to be shouted down when the lineswoman put her flag up.

I was there too, in similar circumstances i.e. in the midst of Swans fans, but managed to restrain myself when it seemed Micah had scored. Sian Massey was correct on that occasion, unlike tonight!

That's true for me as well

Far sooner go to the swamp over dipperland

Looking at their injuries and form, I’d prefer the Dippers. Rags are doing well due to the depth of their squad and the decisions they get. It’s no coincidence that they are where they are (2nd) with what they have and have been given.
