There is a pattern , which has been emerging since Agent Solskjaer was appointed, which is becoming increasingly clear evidence of this fine operatives skill and timing. Untied play well , score goals ,win games , climb the table, with Pogba and Messinaldo turning up for games and looking interested and motivated. This continues for a period of some weeks, then, mysteriously , a switch is flicked , and everything at the swamp turns to custard. This cycle continues until "Ole out" seems imminent, at which point, the switch is flicked the other way. This latest cycle started at the swamp league derby, prior to which , Pochettino seemed certain to be "next contestant" , in the event of a City victory. Now, with both Poch and Tuchel BOTH spoken for, and no other obvious "contestants" freely available. . . it appears the switch has been flicked back again, to the setting WE desire.
MASTERFUL timing - evidence that Agent Solskjaer could turn out to be the most talented operatives we have yet deployed ( . . .though Pep does deserve some credit for the strategically arranged avoidance of victory at the swamp that day).
