A great result but not a good performance. At 1 nil at 70 minutes, you’d think fresh legs as in Sterling or Mahrez could’ve sealed the result and yet only one change at 90 minutes which was made to defend the lead !! Does this mean Sterling and Mahrez will start at Burnley ?

We can never second guess Pep and his team selections. Despite what he says in public about the best team always playing, we know that he will have looked at the weeks' fixtures and want his best 11 fresh for next sunday. Maybe he gave Fern a run-out to be rested on tuesday and fit for scouse? I still think he should be in there at scouse over Rodri particularly if Henderson has to play at cb. Doubt Mahrez will start or Torres
