This situation doesn't rub me the right way, the devil on my left shoulder is telling me there is a problem between Pep and Kun. I hate to say that my fav striker has played his last game but its kinda feeling that way.

Just saying.
So let's keep the powder dry on this one for another little while, shall we.

Scraping bottom of barrel here, great striker, club legend, we might get the best out of him for rest of the season if he can regain his fitness, but really, we should be looking to replace him next season.

Of course I am scraping the bottom of the barrel! What other option do we have? We cant get anyone of his calibre this month.
So let's hope he gets back on the pitch soon. And lets get on with what we have.
No point in bringing in inferior players like Costa or dzeko or any other similar players, Sergio is better let's get him fit and in the side.

I think the opposite.
Pep wants to make sure he has him available for the business end of the season i.e. the CL.
When he recovers from Covid he will be reintroduced slowly, targeting peak fitness to coincide with the CL matches (same goes for Brown).

We can get away with not having them available for the PL games.

Aguero has just tweeted he is now clear of covid issues and back at the Etihad campus training in the gym and will rejoin full training with the squad tomorrow. A fresh Aguero fit and ready for the business end of the season what a massive boost indeed !

That would be a huge boost for the squad, just have to hope he can stay fit for the remaining season

To be honest, don't want him playing 90min, if we can get 60min on average and around 70- 90min in big games that will do me. It's about managing and getting the best out of him. It would be nice to introduce him on Sunday against the vermins with the winning goal.

If he's back to his best for the last 8-10 games that will do for me. He's more than capable of sticking a dozen in the onion bag during that time. Fucking legend.

March before he is match fit. Good news he will be back.

That'd be the ideal situation, imo. Bring him back slowly so he doesn't pick up another injury, then set him free for the last 2-3 months fully fit and banging them in for fun.

Baby steps I suspect. First one on one training, then reintroduction to the squad, then match fitness and finally match sharpness.

A slightly good player to be joining our resurgence.

Pep has said Sergio has finally tested negative for covid which is good news but, now says he's at least 2 weeks from returning to training. Sounds like Sergio had it quite tough compared to other players who had it?

Putting 2&2 and getting 5 but he might be serving a suspension over the circumstances of how he contracted it?

I very much doubt he’s serving a secret suspension. He had symptoms so he’s obviously still suffering a bit of Post Covid fatigue. Not fit yet for training.

He’s definitely been told to reign in the social media posts. They’ve gone from him showing himself breaking lockdown rules to barely the odd picture of his gaming set up.

Like Gundo he developed symptoms, the rest were asymptomatic as far as I know.

It affects everyone differently mate - the same as it has a different affect on different cultures.
