I do think that Pep is trying ti protect him still and keep him grounded. Is that the right way to do it - possibly not, but thats Pep's approach. He has been consistently selected for chumps league games this season so no doubt he is part of a plan. Id be surprised if he doesn't start tonight as bernie is absent and I'd put money on colin bell appearing on a tshirt if he were to score

His minutes per goal ratio will be even better still

Any way of checking his goals per game time ratio?

I know Aguero has a ration of around 1 goal per 110 mins

Transfermarket has it at a Premier League goal every 206 minutes

CL every 254 minutes
FA Cup every 106 minutes
League Cup every 257 minutes

Great read. And some of the stories I’ve heard about his dad - it doesn’t surprise me he’s a rag

Trippier’s story was similar. I watched him when he was 7/8 playing against 10 year olds in Bury every Sunday. By far the best player on the pitch every week, and by some distance. Technically brilliant - would dribble around 5 or 6 players, put his foot on the ball and blast it top corner. His dad and whole family support United as well - but City must have been doing something right, like Cassell says in the article.

Back on Foden, I can’t believe he’s only 20!

I think you are just born a Blue or Munchen...my whole family (apart from me mam) are Munchen supporters...my dad did everything he could to turn me into Rag.

Didn't happen...Foden is Blue through and through....that's why he will be a one team Career player...IMO.

Thanks...not bad considering he rarely got the full 90 in those 100 games!

Bet his minutes per goal ratio is very handy. Probably better than a lot of PL strikers

I read an article in the mail the other day basically saying there are certain footballers that have something special and no matter what team you support you just know that these players are something special also heard Adrian Durham on talksport saying the same thing . Comparing him with Gazza etc.

Well I hope he doesn't end up taking a chicken, a fishing rod and some special brew to a psycopath. (poor gazza)
