Me too. I'll wait until half 7 to make final judgement.
Meanwhile I'll just start a book on fuck ups

Those front attacking players need to seriously step up a few notches today. No fannying about, Mendy and Laporte will hopefully have good games, not too many concerns with the rest of the team. Come on City!

I hope Torres plays left and Sterling right. All those changes shows he really wants to get those three points against Villa. The PL is a bigger prize than the FA Cup. Hopefully these guys can do the business today. Plenty of strength on the bench.

So we've got a young kid who's absolutely on fire bags of energy and young enough to play games close together and...... Pep plays someone totally out if form. FFS.
Came in to take a shower before the game, might just go straight back out and finish the garden.
I haven't a fecking clue what I'm doing! Gillie come back man I want my sig back. As the Photobucket thingy gone?

At these times you can rest people too much, but we'll see

Worth bearing in mind Chelsea have had an extra days rest and had an easier match in the CL.

Mendy is the only player in the world that gets rewarded by starting even though he’s played shit the time before.

Dear fucking Lord
Football is a funny old game at times and it needs to be with this line up. Not confident at all. But equally, I haven’t seen Chelsea’s line up yet. Maybe they have dropped their best players too

Dias probably has raised an eyebrow in Peps direction in the changing room as if to say WTAF boss.

I don’t understand why we bother to blast these competitions at the start, only to put that team out right at the end? Surely we’re better just getting knocked out early on?

As much as it annoys the living hell out of me, I somewhat understand this. The players need to earn their wages today, some might play for their future also.
But what I fucking hate is the large number of changes. 3 is ok, 8 is crazy.

Just looked at the team against Dortmund and he has made eight changes, for me that is fucking ridiculous, football is a team game built on confidence, cohesion and momentum, this selection fucks up most of those criteria

Torres, Jesus and Sterling. None of them have form, let alone other reliable qualities, arguably. I'm stunned at this selection. If he's not prepared to risk...why play KDB and Dias? It makes zero sense. Zero. Can our players absolutely not play Wednesday and Saturday? I mean, why not??? The rotation game should be Villa, bang out of form with their best player out. City are also better away from home this season, weirdly.

Totally agree. It's a Cup Semi, FFS.

Could not agree more. And it will be another six changes v Villa no doubt. The guys that played in Germany will be riding high on the crest of momentum and it’s gone. Baffling
