Cancelo has been so poor, a real stinker. Thankfully it's 1 goal. This away goal though, other than another defensive error by them we are not getting it.

Poor display, we seem overawed. Amazing really.

Cancelo is gonna fuck up at some point. His positioning is shite and he’s giving the ball away in advanced areas.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Fortunately only down 1, but we cannot give away more AND need to score 1.

Not impossible, but something must change within the players or tactics Pep and his coaches see.

Have Neymar and Mbappe been as good as BT are making out here? I don't know if I'm watching a different game or I have my blue blinkers on.

We've been our own worst enemy in my opinion losing possession cheaply, giving the ball away and missing gilt edge chances as opposed to being played off the park. But again, could be my blue blinkers

Pep needs to make a sub immediately at half time rather than wait till the 80th like he usually does. Imo, We need to bring in Gabby immediately. Cancelo off as well for Zinch.

You'll be lucky to get 20 mins out of Fernandinho after playing on Sunday afternoon.

Zinchenko needs to come on before Neymar gets Cancelo sent off, he's been lucky thus far.

This is by far our toughest test this season without a doubt and that is solely down to the opposition.

Massive second half coming up

I am trying to understand who the fuck is making up this stats when you hear Rodri ran his ass off versus Dortmund. More than any player in the quaters.

I swear he either runs in circles, or he is paying someone to get him those stats. He is 3-4 steps behind every counter and when he gets the ball he passes to the closest player around.

We are shit tonight, but I think the main problem is Kevin. Weird, but we are really far better than him. He looks like a fish out of water, constantly not knowing his place and losing the ball very often.

Very risky tackle on Mbappe again. Got the ball with a decent tackle as it happened, but next time Mbappe or Neymar will be cleverer and leave a leg out to trip themselves over and give the referee a decision to make. Needs to be hooked at half time

This is the kind of game where having a real attacking center would have made Paris defending so much harder. They are too good for us to control the ball as much as we would like. We dont control the ball, and we are creating too little, and we are shit in the final third.

We need to man up and start winning some 50/50s. I’m surprised a couple of their tackles haven’t been pulled up in the current climate. The one where Walker got injured was over the top of the ball and caught him quite high up and there was a two footed challenge just before they were screaming for a penalty. Neither punished.

So, if you're zonal marking you still man mark tighter?

Micah is saying this on Paramount Plus but is that true? I'm genuinely curious

Gundo is a terrible matchup to man mark Marqhinos on a corner.

Kevin isn’t working as a false nine. Zinchenko and Fernandinho should really come on straightaway for Rodri and Cancelo. Don’t suppose they will.

Hopefully Cancelo has the brains not to make any more rash challenges.
