the best £2m we’ve ever spent? no coincidence for me that everything clicked into place when he replaced cancelo at left back.
so glad that he stayed to fight for his place.
speaks volumes that he gets in the side ahead of that clown mendy

Said it before, he has his off days but generally, he does the job asked of him. Mendy should look at him and see where he went wrong. I would leave him in for the 2nd leg

Unfortunately with twins you always get one that’s just better at everything.

I was worried about him coming on last night. His lack of pace really concerned me but Cancelo left Pep with no option

Zinch made a fool out of me. He was outstanding when he came on. Assured, confident, barely misplaced a pass. Everything we were not in the first half.

I was hoping he'd bring Ake on at left back, when Zinch came on i thought he'd be destroyed. Straight away he played a pass to them- after that he was brilliant. Didn't put a foot wrong and his passing was totally assured, Really good going forward as well. Delighted to admit I was wrong.

My Commentator said after his first four touches of the ball were gifts to PSG players that Zinch seemed very nervous.

He was brilliant, good call to take Cancelo off as he was a red card waiting to happen.

But everything clicked before he came on, Foden going inside and Cancelo pushing up wide left was what changed the dynamic. Foden wasn't in the game in the first half, getting him into the game was key and that tactical tweak Pep made at half time sorted that ( I only wonder why he didn't do it sooner).

Decent player and in terms of value for money, at £2M or thereabouts, he has to be one of our better purchases.

He has his limitations as we are all aware of and I personally don’t think him good enough to be first choice for the most part, but as a squad player who can step in, he is perfect in every way. Hope he loves life in Manchester and he stays for a good number of years yet

Certainly, Mbappe barely kicked it after he came on. And played his part going forward as well.

Hope you have good birthday by the way fella

I'm his biggest fan, but wss going to right exactly this. We hsd already taken over the game before he cane on (mainly due to PSG sitting back), but his coming on helped us bring it home.

I was really concerned about his habit of always going backwards/sideward when receiving the ball, but a) Cancello gave Pep no choice and b) he made my concerns look foolish when he came on

Wow - £2m for an excellent squad player is a steal

He gave the ball away twice in his first minute, which only me seemed to see, but after the initial nerves had an excellent game
