Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Protest getting a bit rowdy
It’s getting rowdier here. Some fans just lobbed a full beer can at a camera crew and told them to ‘stick yer f——-g cameras up your a—e’.
A fan said ‘there’s no need for that’. Supporters who organised this protest called for it to be peaceful.
Just seeing that now. Surely the ground is 'contaminated' (even more than when a RAG v vermin game is taking place anyway) with all those 'fans' (commentator mentioned 'hundreds') on and around the pitch.
Commentator in the studio still thinks it's going ahead though.

We watched the supporters make their way through the barriers and on to the playing surface. They congregated towards the players' tunnel and were holding flares, one of which was thrown towards the TV presentation position. The stewards stood in their positions, watching on, and it was a surprise that the fans managed to make their way through the barriers.I don't think they really wanted to destroy anything - after all, this is their Theatre of Dreams - but they wanted to make their point as forcefully as they could and they will feel that they have sent a very clear message to the Manchester United ownership.

Every time this fixture comes around I always hope it gets abandoned due to a mass brawl on the pitch with both sides docked points.
If this fixture cannot be fulfilled because of the rag fans actions then surely the rags will be fined and have the game forfeited? After all, it is the clubs responsibility to ensure the safety of all concerned and to ensure the match can go ahead.
Just a shame none of the blame can be apportioned to the dippers on this occasion

Also..
“One fan threw a flare in the direction of that platform.
A few fans picked up some chairs and threw them as they made their way on to the pitch, and groundstaff had to remove litter off the pitch.”

"Ground staff had to remove litter from the pitch." - I thought the players were still in their hotels?

Jermaine Jenas “ what do these United fans want from the Glazers? Are they jealous of the City owners who have invested in the local community, who have not put the club in debt, do the want the City business model, if you want the ownership out state where they want improvements, also because they dragged City into the ESL”
Jermaine just went up in my estimations

They have great owners, what could be wrong with them at all?
Long live the Glazer's.
