Said as much to my mate earlier, problem is villa Park putting seating aside looks the same as it did in 81.

UEFA cunts like a spangly new stadium or one thats been given a makeover.

Could Cardiff be a contender as Wembley is being used for play offs?

I also heard spuds had offered their spangly new stadium, which if uefa can be convinced for a UK venue could be a contender

Millennium stadium is a Covid hospital centre at the moment

Why the fuck would the CL final not be played in the Wembley stadium? Especially considering the issue of Turkey and Covid 19. Fuck the turks. This is an all English final (first kind eh?!).

The EFL is open to discussing moving the Championship game if asked by UEFA - but will UEFA want it in England? For our fans I do, but we all know fans are an afterthought with those fuclers.

As if the game for the Championship third place play off is mission critical to Football in England !

As it stands, Brentford , my old mates club, Swansea , Bournemouth and Barnsley are Involved.

It's not like those games couldn't be played at Villa Park or Molineux.

As said earlier, It was moved last year from Istanbul, it could be moved again. Giving Istanbul the right to hold the game next season. It really isn't a big issue. It is simply UEFA administrators trying to stay self important. The UK government has just put the mockers on it all. So it makes sense to move it to England. Since there wont be a full stadium, you need only have a good pitch.

To relocate the final to Uk is an absolute no brainier; therefore it will not happen

Exactly and also we were both part of the breakaway SL so expect no favors from EUFA .

After all it doesn’t involve us fans in their decision making !!

We aren’t important enough , even though it was us fans outrage that got this thing shelved.

Cardiff would be ideal and at leas both sets of fans would have to travel and it’s about equidistant for both teams.

I went to Cardiff when we played TNS. They had the roof closed and you could smell the grass! Pub across from it called Blue Moon as well that everyone piled in. It was the first time I’d heard Oasis’s version of Cum on Feel the Noise, because someone put it on the jukebox.

Absolutely nothing to add of importance, just thought I’d get that off my chest

It was a great day out. I genuinely thought it was the only time we’d get to play in a stadium that big.

Man City fans to appeal to Uefa to move Champions League final
Exclusive by Ben Rumsby

Manchester City fans will ask the club to lobby for travel to the Champions League final to be exempt from coronavirus quarantine rules in defiance of calls for them to be banned from attending altogether.

More than 4,000 tickets are expected to be made available for City’s supporters at a third-full Ataturk Stadium for this month’s game in Istanbul after they finally reached the climax of Europe’s biggest club competition.

Many may be unable to attend if, as expected, Turkey is not added to the Government’s ‘green list’ of countries when it lifts its ban on foreign travel on May 17, something that would mean any City fan travelling to the May 29 final would have to self-isolate for up to 10 days upon their return to the UK.

There were also calls for them to be banned from going to the game altogether, with an MP and public health experts warning that allowing supporters to do so would “make a mockery” of Britain’s roadmap out of lockdown due to Turkey’s high Covid-19 infection rate.

But Kevin Parker, the general secretary of the Manchester City Supporters Club, said the game should be added to the list of pilot events for the return of crowds to sport, revealing he planned to ask City to lobby the Government to that effect.

Parker said: “It would be an absolute shame if some people do have the opportunity to go but can’t go because of the fear of having to self-isolate for two weeks or 10 days when they get back.”

Special trains and coaches were chartered to take 2,000 City fans to Wembley for the Carabao Cup final and aviation experts have told the Telegraph the same could be done with flights to the Champions League final at a similar cost to supporters as travelling commercially.

Coaches could then be laid on to transport them to and from the stadium, minimising their interaction with the local population.

Clive Efford MP, a member of the Digital, Culture, Media & Sport select committee and a former shadow sports minister, said: “To allow English fans to travel to and from Turkey would make a mockery of all the measures we have taken over recent months during lockdown.
