Where do you reckon Zinchenko would be without Pep as his manager?

Does he ever get a look in at our first team apart from a few League Cup games?

Does he go the same way as Vladimir Weiss? Or is he a Ben Mee /Harrison type that would have worked their way back up to the top leagues

But you can see that he has made himself the footballer he is through sheer hard work. Probably fantastic player in the training ground. I'm sure he puts all these supreme talented world stars through their paces. You can't put a price on that. Will do whatever his manager asks him to do with no ego whatsoever.

city’s philipp lahm?

He's the exact opposite of fancy dan like Lahm. Only few days ago a mate of mine told me, as if I needed to know this, the trivia fact that Lahm went all his career without getting a red card. There you go. My point proven. If a supposed defender goes all his career without receiving a red card that only tells me that he never got stuck in. And even if you were the best tackler on the planet (that's Franco Baresi by the way who got six in the era when defenders still had certain liberties) you'd pick up one or two if you put in full effort.

THE most overrated player in the history of football. Admittedly Roberto Carlos is close second. Should've played for Mark ("Sp*rky" as come people here loved to call him) Hughes though. They deserved each other.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Pep Guardiola:

"Aleks [Zinchenko] fought a lot to be here, a transfer was possible and he said 'no I want to be here'. That means a lot. Second, he’s a guy who played in another position and never complains, and third he doesn’t make mistakes. When you say something, he reads it immediately. He is always focuses, always concentrated. As a left-back he fights against [Mohamed] Salah, [Marcus] Rashford, [Angel] Di Maria, the toughest opponents and he doesn’t make mistakes. The quality with the ball is exceptional, we know it, in a defensive back four the most important thing is don’t do mistakes. When he played in Dortmund, in the last game, always this season he’s stable in that. That is why he deserves to play."

Don't think this got shared here, sorry if it has, but high praise from Pep indeed.

Reading between the lines the repeated use of "he doesn't make mistakes" , I could be reading too much into but I think he's aiming that at Mendy and telling us he's as good as gone?

He wants to stop fucking insinuating and just tell the sack of shit , to his face, that he should start packing his bags now , as he’s a gonner in the summer .

I think he might be referring to Cancelo of late, with his “no mistakes” comment. Cancelo has been great for a good chunk of this season, but lately he’s given the ball away a lot or chosen the wrong option.

....and he can’t put a good cross in to save his life, one decent cross in the fa cup and that’s all I can remember. Skilful player at times, but vastly overrated in my view.

Zilch is the underdog that's come good. Love the guy, love how much his defending has improved. Every time now he goes in to win the ball, he does.
