Anyway what i was thinking before the game was that Tuchel has never faced our best team with those chelsea players
so he hasn't seen first hand how his players match up to Kev, Bernie, Mahrez, Phil etc all on the pitch together doing their stuff.
That to me is a major flucking advantage for the CL final and maybe even more important means Pep does not have to think up any surprises
as our best team will be the surprise.
Before the game i was wishing he didnt play our best team for this reason. Now we have got to a furkin CL final we really have to win it. Giving Tuchel a preview of what his defensive set up needs to be in practice would have been a major blunder.
So yeah we shouldn't have lost that game, but the selection was fine.
Apart from the dollop of shit, obviously.
If PeP has any sense in this competition then he will play the same team as he played in the SF .The Chelsea manager will know what to expect IMO.
Yes same team as the SF is mandatory. Any changes or 'over thinking's would be unforgivable.
Yes Chelsea will know what to expect. But there is a big difference between knowing what to expect and actually experiencing it. Chelsea will get one shot at it in the CL final. IMO giving them a dress rehearsal yesterday would only have benefitted them.
Time will tell if I am wrong in thinking that yesterday's match was a dead rubber because the PL title is in the bag so therefore no point in giving Chelsea a dress rehearsal to prepare for opening night.
We all want the best for City and it would be a very dull world without diversity, that includes opinions.
