Clear, it's our fault, there is no debate in that.

But this is about him and why we still accept him. The penner was soft for me also, but he pointed from the spot when we were 1 up. If it was 0-0, he would have ignored it like he did at 1-1.
That is the issue, in important moments he fucks us over and did it every time. Chelsea's last win here was with him in charge when he sent Sergio and Fern off.
Three consecutive games at home vs the rags with him in charge, all with controversy and we keep on accepting him.

He is a really big issue because we keep on getting him in important moments and keeps on robbing us.

As much a legend he is, that was fucking disgraceful by Sergio. I don't want to believe it was deliberate, but since he announced his departure and intimated we weren't renewing his contract. Which from what we heard was he was offered a part role, which to be quite Frank he's been for more than a while.anyway

Going in at half time 2-0 would have been psychologically game over.

That maybe so but the better team won in the end, thanks to our brilliant manager’s fuck up AGAIN

Are you serious?
Some people here are behaving like entitled Rag fans.

Today's match was a NOTHING match, a dead rubber.
We have ONE match left that counts, the CL final.
Any selection that helps prepare for that match is ok by me. Why risk injury to the tired limbs of your best players when you don't need to?

Our manager had broken records all over the shop since he joined us. Delivered silverware playing incredible football. This season had us in contention for FOUR trophies. THREE of which we might win.

Re the PL. For us to lose it the Rags must win 5 matches on the bounce and we must get less than 2 points from 3 matches. Not going to happen.

Anyway, to blame the manager for today's defeat is crazy. We lost because Taylor shafted us again, Sterling missed two 1 to 1s and Kun made an arse of a penalty. Not the manager's fault.

You realise we haven't won the league yet?

You call people entitled yet seem to ignore the fact we still need to earn the title.

I am not ignoring the fact we need to win and earn the PL title. I am trying to say that picking teams is a balancing act because each team selection must take the big picture into account.

If I was a manager picking yesterday's team, my priorities would be: 1. CL final prep (eliminate unnecessary injury risks due to recovery time, etc...) 2. Seal PL title win. 3. Ensure 2nd choice players get match time for fitness in case 1st choice players get injured before CL final. 4. Keep full squad involved for moral. 5. Who do I want to keep for next season.....

The picture allows me (dictates) that I play yesterday's team because CL final prep is more important than sealing the title yesterday. Next match I play the strongest team to try seal the title (assuming the Rags could still win it).

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that if any player other than Sterling is fouled by Zouma yesterday then its a penalty. Look at the speed he gave Sterling a booking for the challenge on Werner, when we get a penalty he makes a point of walking across Sterling with his arm outstretched. I don't know the reasons behind it but he clearly dislikes Sterling to the point he is incapable of refereeing him in a professional manner.

Pat Nevin - fair play.
Said that Taylor treated Sterling differently to every other player against Chelsea. Throughout the entire match. That he gave him absolutely nothing.
And that for the penalty shout, the Chelsea player had three hacks at Sterling and it was nailed on penalty.
Fair play.

If Nevin is right and Sterling was refereed differently from everyone else, the obvious question is why.

Taylor makes fake profiles on Twitter so that he can send Raheem racial abuse.

Watch the game again and how Taylor interacts with Sterling compared to other players. There is no doubt he was treated differently. The only question remaining is why?

Taylor is a rag. Question answered.

If that were the case, he’d be the same with all City players, wouldn’t he?
