Fuck that, mate. Half right. keeping Chelsea busy until the end of the season is a priority but I’m hoping that, and Leicester getting something against Chelsea, the Dippers are fucked off to the Europa League.

Given they play each other on Tuesday it’s inevitable. Because of that the dippers know if they win their three remaining games they will get fourth. And it’s three very winnable games as well so they will get that fourth slot I reckon

Nothing is clear with them this season. Brom had them a couple of seasons back and Burnley did them this season. We all know about Palace ;-)

Basically need Chelsea to beat Leicester (home win) then Leicester to beat Spuds (home win) then Chelsea beat Villa (Away)
Although it will be tight as Leicester and dippers goal average is almost the same

Ha ha that’d suffice I guess, but I can see Klipperty fielding kids and fringe players on Thursday nights. Regardless the run in will be fun to watch over the next 10 days.

After them cutting the wage bill in defence, and a real lack of investment going forward, they can play the kids in all the cups and still won’t make it in the league.

Businesses who try and get money from the tax payer aren’t interested in trophies, it’s all about the dividends.

Priority is to keep Chelsea busy until the end of the season.
They have two tricky PL fixtures to play and could lose both.
Hopefully, they arrive in Porto deflated, having lost the FA Cup final, not got top four, tired and carrying injuries.
That would initiate some introspective thinking re the current narrative around Tuchel, who is being portrayed as some sort of Einstein like genius.

There is another view, if Chelsea have not qualified for top four and therefore no CL, won’t they be more hungrier to win the final, because otherwise no CL next season, they will be desperate to win, even more incentive if that is necessary, just a thought.

I don't buy this "to keep" Chelsea busy. They are professional players, they can keep this up at this level so them playing to the end for getting the 4th spot means that they can get momentum and a form near the game.
For us having three friendlies before that game is so and so. We are lucky there are just 2 weeks until the game and no more, but we need to use our players with Newcastle and Brighton, but rest the squad with Everton.

Remember Baldie's first season at Bayern? They were the best team in Europe until march when they won the league having 1000 points ahead of everyone else. What happened? Lost the tempo and the motivation and they lost the semis.

Whether Chelsea qualify from the league or not they'll be desperate to win. Just like we will.
I'd love them to not qualify after all the brown nosing of Tuchel for just about managing to beat our B team twice.
If both teams turn up on the night we win because we're better than them. I'm sure of it.
