He’s probably banking on next year being the year.

Even the BBC pundits went for him (or the majority anyway - still one or two clueless gimps). Richly deserved for Kompany's heir. I would not be surprised to see our players vote for him to be captain next season.

Don't the players vote for the captain under Pep? I can see Fern, Dias, De Bruyne being top 3, although I wouldnt's choose De B myself as he's a bit spiky

There needs to be a club captain (Fern) and an on-field one (Dias) as I don't think Fern will play in even half the games next season. Keep Sterling a million miles away from the job - he's proved this season he isn't up to it.
