kane yes or no [ leaving spurs]

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

If I didn't chime in here, it's been a yes all day from me for some time.

I'd love to get Haaland, but Kane does offer different abilities that fit Pep's football incredibly well, along with leadership, and won't have to play every game as he has at Spurs.

If we get either I will be more than satisfied.

Also, Kane would allow for Torres and Delap's potential futures to be less blocked.

The commentator then adds that we probably all know who he means, which follows plenty of speculation recently that Pep Guardiola’s side could swoop for Tottenham striker Harry Kane.“

That was my conclusion too.
Suppose I should get used to the idea.
And with any luck, Razza might be going the other way.

I really want Haaland, but at the same time with his dad and agent slagging themselves about going meeting every club under the sun that may have put City off the idea a bit - and if Kane actually wants to come to City then I can see why we’d favour Kane.

When was the last time we bought the top division's leading scorer? I recall Phil Boyer in 1980, that did not go too well.

It really does look like a done deal.
I would not be surprised if it is completed before the Euros.
It looks like a well orchestrated move between Kane, City and Levy.
With an agreement in place that will be signed, sealed and delivered before the Euros.

All parties would seem to have their PR in pace (a win, win, win setup for Kane, City and Levy).

Kane has gone public, let it be known that he wants out of Spurs with City being his choice of club.
City have Kun leaving and stated they need a striker.
Levy has said nothing directly but he has everyone onside.
For ex, Spurs fans are onside due to Kane's age, his desire for trophies and what he has given Spurs.
Plus fat transfer fee being reinvested on new players brings a new dawn and hope for the Spurs fans.

If we're not getting Haaland hope he ends up at Real and not our domestic rivals.

Kane handballed it in the buildup for Spurs’ third yesterday, but VAR let them have the goal. I hope he’s aware shit like that will change if he comes here

^^^^ difficult to see on the highlights i just saw, but i am really shocked that Taylor fell for the dives from Vardy TWICE ! disgraceful and you can even see on the VAR replay for the first penalty how Vardy deliberately stumbles over the player by kicking the spuds player. This kind of crap needs seriously investigating. It was so bad.

just seen Vardy's second penalty and even then he grabs the defenders arm and falls over , what a cheat !

I noticed that second one. The Spurs defender made the point to the ref that Vardy looped his arm on to the defenders before throwing himself to the floor. It was pathetic. That’s one positive about Leicester not making top four - Vardy doesn’t get to play CL.

Exactly what happened when wellshit got Cancelo sent off the other night, if we can fucking see it how the fuck can't VAR able to see it.

Even my missus said about Vardy last night how blatant it was she "thought that was the whole point of VAR"

It’s interesting that it’s always been the favour of the FA’s golden clubs and against the likes of City and Leicester.

^^^^ i missed the early part of the Brighton game because i was working . Finally just seen the red card on Cancelo and the foul on Güno. How the REF and VAR REFS can get two things so badly incorrect is unbelievable. The Cancelo Incident is two players falling over no one person to blame, no foul and yet a deliberate studs up above the knee , probably the most dangerous foul you could make only gets a yellow. How do these corrupt officials get away with it ?

You're lucky you didn't see the rest of it mate. City players flattened, nothing given, including a thigh-high frontal kick which that idiot Peter Walton said was 'not dangerous'. Red card all day long, nothing given.

The whole match was one long stream of biased refereeing.

I joined it after 25 minutes, but my feed didn't discuss the red card or yellow at half time...

The Ref was a tool - struck me that he had lost control of the game , some very strange second half decisions.

I think the referee had full "control" of the game mate. It was a truly disgusting refereeing performance for want of a better expression and I am still trying to decide whether it was corrupt or inept.

The truth be told it was probably a combination of the two and really put me in mind of the Monaco match at home with this idiot who is charge this Saturday night.
