Rehashed quotes from four months ago to make a negative article in the Munich post hours before the champions league final. What a shock.

Actually, I am reading between the lines, Tokyo.
He (Laporte) is giving me the sensation of a moaner and I have a feeling that article has legs because he is unhappy with the current situation. And it's stupid if you ask me.
Reminded me of earlier this season when he got some critics and he closed his Instagram/twatter for a few days because he got upset.

Man the fuck up, don't be so fucking soft and work your ass off to be again in the main squad.

Sorry, mate. You know I have got a ton of respect for you, but it's a contrived attempt to stir shit by some turd of a rag hack and you are falling for it. Professional footballer in wanting to play football matches shocker.

If that little shit that manages France doesn't like Aymeric Laporte, he'll do for me.

Hope I am proven wrong, pal. But you know my spider-sense is going crazy at times.
(most of all when we are not one up yet).

grealish could rotate in for gundo, kdb or bernardo, or even sterling if he's still here. it's a yes from me.

Interesting move.
For me he is a natural replacement for Gundo, but I think someone is leaving. Sterling, Gundo or Mahrez.
Take your pick.

Sterling I hope, nothing personal against him you understand but his form has fallen off a cliff, I would be much happier with a wide Grealish.

Weird. I got a text off a mate yesterday that knows nothing about football saying “Grealish to City nailed on”. Just ignored it.

Allegedly 8 Championship clubs are sniffing a loan of Cole Palmer next season.

However, the Etihad club have reportedly told the enquiring sides that the forward will be fully a part of Pep Guardiola’s first-team next season.

It is suggested that the club will look to mirror the slow integration of Phil Foden, who worked his way up from the youngest age levels of the Manchester City academy to the very top.

Academy stars such as Tommy Doyle, Liam Delap, and others all set to be slowly integrated more and more into the first team.

Probably true.
For the past two months there have been rumors from reasonable sources saying that we were going to make a move for Grealish.
I hope this happens.

At £100m it doesn't make sense at all, we need a striker end of, and shoukd be pushing all cash at that.

No way are we paying that unless razzer is going elsewhere for at least £60m, which unless we've found a cash rich blind suitor that ain't happening

Grealish is and should be a £50-60m buy tops for us as the position is not a priority surely?

Agree with Hants. No way we should be paying £100m for Grealish, and I don’t think we will. The Chairman and Pep have mentioned a few times about us being hit financially with the pandemic. We’re not about to absolutely smash our transfer record.

I think we will try to get him whatever the cost.
The rumors are very persistent and from reliable sources.
Class player, direct Gundo replacement, gets past players, 25 years old, will get better with Pep.....
Transfer fee will look cheap a couple of years from now.
We will get a top top striker in as well.

That's what I think too.

Although we've paid big money for transfers in the past, we've never been paying some of the world's highest fees.

Considering we absolutely need a striker this summer and have been linked with both Kane and Haaland, I'd be surprised if we're going after Grealish for such a big fee.

We could be wrong and the club might do it, but it would be a significant change from our transfer policy in the past.

Just basically all of that up there. I'd just add Grealish could definitely court a price tag in the £70-£80m range, he's quality, he's only 25 so plenty of years ahead to fine tune anything. I just don't see US spending that money on him, but someone, sure. £100 would be a bit fucking much unless there's something I'm just not seeing.

To be honest, there is a chance we are paying 30 mil for Grealish and the rest of 70 will be Mendy.
The world of football doesn't have a player of such an amazing trophy record.

Pure quality. Sign him up Villa!

Grealish isn't worth 100 million, even in today's bloated transfer-fee world.
Personally I dont think he has the right personality to be a CITY player either.
