More on Penalties...........

Having shocked myself with the doom and gloom it occurred to me I was looking at it all wrong, forget individuals and their records and look collectively how we faired as a club and I am please to say it paints a much nicer picture.

Of the last 10 shootouts we've been in since 2005/06, we've won 8 = 80% success

Chelsea since 83/84 have been in 21 shootouts and only won 7 of them = 33% success

I told you not to look at the other post :o

This game isn't going to penalties, not even going to extra time.

I know if Pep plays our best 11 & the officials don't fuck us over we will win on merit & comfortably so. I am desperately trying to stay positive, but old habits die hard when the subject is City.

I've been fine all week as I have had work distracting me, but I've been off today so had time for the nerves to kick in big style

We're so busy getting peoples hanging baskets out and planting up in Skipton that I've kept my mind at rest all week.

I finished at half three today and it kicked in. A nervy shit before I left and back on the toilet now. They say 'City will be the death of me... I'll die of sharting out my intestines and it WILL be City's fault.

Win tomorrow and I'd die a happy man.
I haven't a fecking clue what I'm doing! Gillie come back man I want my sig back. As the Photobucket thingy gone?

So was I when I first heard he had been appointed.

But after thinking about it, I am not worried now.
I don't think even UEFA would have the nerve to do another 'Liverpool' on us.
To much has happened since that match like CAS, the SL and also Chelsea are not UFEA's favorite pets.
I may be imagining this but since the CAS ruling my perception is that we are refereed more fairly?

Anyways, it is the final and IMO there will be to many eyes on it for UEFA to blatantly shaft us, they cannot afford the fallout.

My issue is not him purposely fucking us over, my issue is his incompetence. Id rather a ref who just reffed the game not one who could mess it up for either side.

Match thread already up? Guess I'm not the only one jitterbugging around today w/ a belly full of nerves

I know we probably shouldn't worry but this is something special and it would just be tragic for it all to go wrong. But just imagine, Kun comes on 2nd half, scores the winning goal, what a fucking beautiful story it would be!

(Sidenote I want a flipping heart emoticon, heart-eyes smiley, something w/ hearts! It can be blue hearts :D but pls  )

So drunken fans go at each other on Friday. Wouldn't have happened if held at Wembley.

They are saying around 18-20 thousand City fans will be in Porto today , thousands have travelled up from Faro and Lisbon plus those flying directly to Porto. A MCFC fanzone has been set up in Porto despite Portuguese authorities saying there wouldn’t be one !

C’mon City !!!
Not really here

The only video I saw yesterday was shot from a distance on a mobile, one person appeared to be on floor and a skirmish of people unknown, a couple appeared to have light blue shirts being chased off

Completely inconclusive

But yes it appears to be Euro 04 all over again when the dibble let it esculate before charging in
